Chig i can"t begin to say how much joy you bring to me and the world everyday. The amount of knowledge you carry about American history, archeology, Science, and sheer effort and passion truly shows in your videos. Thank you for your service and time teaching all of us about metal detecting and all that comes with it. Stephen Short. Wish i had A AT pro.
Awesome adventure!! i always look forward to your adventures! i love seeing the Cival war relics you dig! , here in upstate NY i only find what soldiers brought home and dropped, no bullets but buttons and plates. thank you for explaining you shovel! many buy overpriced "metal detecting" shovels that arent necessary. You are the best! keep it up!
By far, you are the most knowledgeable person in the detecting world. I learn so much about history, especially the Civil War. I live in KY in an area where a pretty big battle took place. I can't wait to get good enough with my detector and find some treasures!!! Thank you for all you do to not only entertain but educate.
Not sure how this video came up on my suggestions because i never watch anything like this. I was just watching guitar pickup reviews.. lol. But i clicked and got really into this. Cool video and i love this kind of stuff but have never really thought of searching for it on youtube. I hit subscribe just to see what comes up next. I will be sure to check out more of your videos. Awesome stuff.
Wow chigg, more civil war finds. That always makes for a great day out detecting. Love the civil war relics. An the history of the battles an camps that took place during the years of the civil war era. They will never get old finding them. The warm weather is here, so time to get back out there an find the goods. Great video chigg. Catch ya on your next adventure. As always safe an happy hunting/digging. 😁👍👍
Just now subscribed to your channel. And I just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos. They are so informative as well as entertaining. I can also sympathize about the allergy thing. I have them too and live in what sometimes seems to be the allergy capital of the southeast (East Tennessee).
As always great video. 👍 Is that the stock coil that came with your ATMax? Is it worth the extra money to buy the different coils? If you haven't already maybe you can do a video on this subject.
Chigg, Love your videos and watch most of them. I also own a AT Max and wish you would give out some VDI numbers so I could learn what bullets and other stuff ring up on it.
Hey you should read out the numbers on the meter as you go over the good targets. Can't ever read the screen threw the glare!! Lol love my ATMAX!! Thanks man
Most metal detectors don't care for the iron reads and talk down about them Is there anything made of iron that is really exciting to find? Well, you just showed me a few somewhat exciting iron items... BTW, the only reason I look forward to the end of your videos is for your "Mother Earth" song. I love it!
Try as hard as I may for the wobbly kitten and Fiona, I’m not first. I’m like 3,501 after an hour of posting. I did my best, just like Chigg does every video.
I found What beleive is a civil war era bullet. It looks more like an old slug with almost a crown patern on the out side of it. Any ideas of What this is. I can send a picture if you would like.
Hey Chig, a little way back I saw a video that showed pictures of civil war bullets that were bitten by soldiers. I know that is ridiculous. Why wouldn't a Dr give them a cloth, a stick, a piece of leather etc...
I was chastised and called a fool by numerous uninformed people. Please do another video about pigs, wolves, coyotes, that were rummaging for the dead and eating there bodies that were laying on the ground or buried under shallow graves. Humans can't make that kind of bite in a bullet
Beau, please get your fingernails checked out. They look VERY large and that indicates a health problem. I think a lack of oxygen. No wonder you're out of breath. I'm not a doctor, I just observe.

Good evening from Southeast South Dakota.
Chigg, Love your videos and watch most of them. I also own a AT Max and wish you would give out some VDI numbers so I could learn what bullets and other stuff ring up on it.

Greetings Chigg 🖖
Cool finds chig I wish I could find a civil war bullet I like your videos
Hey chigg. Please come back Maine. I have some super cool places that you are going love.. including an old grist mill.
good show
Sometimes when cleaning the barrel a patch comes off and you can spin that little corkscrew jobby down to retrieve it.
Hey you should read out the numbers on the meter as you go over the good targets. Can't ever read the screen threw the glare!! Lol love my ATMAX!! Thanks man
You introduced me to the at max
I just got my first one
I bought one and as learning how to use it

Guns, bayonets, cannon balls, exploded ordnance, hmmm
@@michaelkullas2031 ok, I guess those are kinda cool iron items. How about some things that are not artillery related?
Chiggs 🤘👍🏽🍺👊
I’ve taken a lot of deer with the patch and round ball over the years
I remember you finding a artillery shell with the lead on it awhile ago
Hi from Dothan ,Ala
Mr.chigg. I have an at max and was wondering what's the best all around search coil you would recommend for trashy areas
Looks like a sprew piece of a ram rod. That is used for cleaning out the musket barrel. With cleaning patches n oil. My guess?
Alright Chigg just because i'm fat and out of shape don't mean you can talk about me. Lol
No telling how many of them Bullets you find have killed someone Chigg
Chigg hey and hey to your friend to well Mike then
Look at video at 20:14, looks like a coin or something flat and circular in the dirt. You just found a button.
Try as hard as I may for the wobbly kitten and Fiona, I’m not first. I’m like 3,501 after an hour of posting. I did my best, just like Chigg does every video.
Back on the bullets n bombs, yessss
I found What beleive is a civil war era bullet. It looks more like an old slug with almost a crown patern on the out side of it. Any ideas of What this is. I can send a picture if you would like.
It's a shotgun slug. Post Civil war.
Can you go over the coins you find a little more? Thanks
Did you happen to visit bubbles and the samsquanch while you by the trailer park?
Reporting in.
Me too.
Okay Chig, tell us what happened to your thumb nail. Great burnside info
If you put your ball in before you put your powder in you use the screw/worm to pull your ball out. Thus...screwball.
Are you serious Clark ?
@@waxhawcreek1717 Looks like a good place to stay for the night!
You must have a new camera. Really clear.
Do you find more confederate things because of the places they occupied or from battles? Just a curious question :)
Hey Chig, a little way back I saw a video that showed pictures of civil war bullets that were bitten by soldiers. I know that is ridiculous. Why wouldn't a Dr give them a cloth, a stick, a piece of leather etc...

Must be a good
You’re saying lead expands in the barrel?
The minie balls were a hollow cone and when the charge went off it would expand at the bottom of the bullet and geab the rifled barrel.
What was the coin Chigg
During your civil war sites have you ever found a $1 gold coin?
You didn't dig that bayonet next to the bullet with the nick on it?
What do you mean chewed on?
Pigs and other animals.
I just made my very first Metal Detecting video I’m hoping to get better at it like you guys
Good luck to ya and don't give up.
1st. :)
firstborn
You and Mike make a good team as opposed to you and what's his name.
Beau, please get your fingernails checked out. They look VERY large and that indicates a health problem. I think a lack of oxygen. No wonder you're out of breath. I'm not a doctor, I just observe.

This guy talks to much.
Good finds!
