Can you imagine being without access to any water since October of 2023. Can you imagine seeing more than 26,000 people killed and more than 64,000 wounded. Can you imagine seeing 2 million people homeless as they were kicked out of their homes. Can you imagine the smell of no clean water and the smell of dead bodies surrounding you. Can you imagine the trauma of seeing your home blown to pieces and your entire family killed. Can you imagine the silent killings from the spread of infectious diseases and not being able to go to the hospital since EVERY SINGLE hospital you could go to has been destroyed. Can you imagine being hated and smeared across western media outlets for retaliation against an oppressor. Can you imagine that after all your suffering someone tried to stand in solidarity with your pain. That someone was the Starbucks Workers United union and because they tried to acknowledge your pain, they got sued by Starbucks. When I start to miss my go-to Starbucks drink I imagine all the suffering that I’m so privileged not to feel. Feel for the entire Palestinian families that no longer exist. Feel for the Iraeli families that have been split up and used as hostages. Feel for the children left in Gaza Palestine that suffer because people don’t care about them. Don’t be the person that chooses not to see them. Let Starbucks know that you choose to imagine a life without water than a Starbucks drink in ur hand. Free Palestine.
