I knew you couldn't bypass that scale ! Congrats..Great price
I love it when you take tours of antique malls. I see so many things from my childhood. My mom had many of the kitchen gadgets, Tupperware and serving pieces. She passed 5 years ago & your videos bring back such good memories. Thank you!!🥲
💗
I so enjoy thrifting, even if it’s through some else’s eyes.
Primitive decor is the perfect style for those like me who adore the perfectly imperfect. When the more wear and tear a piece has adds unique charm and character along with giving a glimpse of its history, it becomes a treasured artifact to me. I never get tired of looking at antiques.
Thank you for taking us with you!
Made a jean quilt for my nephew many years ago and entered it in a Good Housekeeping contest. The warehouse that held all the quilts had a fire, thankfully none of the quilts were lost to the fire. Received a medal and an honourable mention in my state of Nevada. Lots of work but well worth it.
Wow.. thank you for sharing.
It is aways so much fun to see Antiques in a different State :) FUN
Oh my goodness, another treat for the eyes, filled with so many treasures! Yep, could spend a couple of days in there and still feel that I was missing so much. Thank you Yvonne for taking us along with you on your treasure hunt.
Oh my word, the pyrex!!! I guess I am cooking with antiques! I am so jealous. i gasped when I saw that scale too. love these videos, so much eye candy.
I like so many of the things you like. I also see some of the things I have or remember from my childhood. It's nice to be able to watch your tours and feel like I just went shopping without having to spend the gas.
I made a huge quilt out of blue jeans years ago, probably 30 years ago. I still have it and still love it. I never had it backed, it’s soooo heavy. It was a lot of work but I was young and it was fun.
Just loved that tour 👍
I made a coffee and sat and watched it . It was So Relaxing and the music to go along with it .
Just ❤️ the old Scales 👍Yes I just ❤️ All that Rust !
Have a Wonderful Day 🤗
hi dear .iam so grateful that you have this beautiful yt channel . has been more then 40 days that I have been on bed very , very sick and every time I see you doing all of this amazing work is therapy for me . god bless you . hugs from Georgia .
Sending prayers..🙏💕
deju vu - I grew up with a home full of milk glass . . . my husband's family bought us Tupperware dining set, mixing bowls , tumblers - probably all that was sold back in 1960 . . . thank you for taking us along . . . here in the Catskill Mountains upstate New York there are lots of antique shops enjoying a pleasureful time . . I bought a vintage radio cabinet painted it white use in my shop. . . pulled out the radio as "my cash-out station" . . .below held my packaging supplies!
So many goodies on the outside before you even get inside!! And oh my when you get inside where do your eyes go first? So many great things to look at!! The first thing that really caught my eye was that dough bowl for $24 - what a steal! And those huge tobacco baskets - oh my goodness! Some of the other things my eyes enjoyed were the corbels, the crocks, the potato chip can, the milk cans, the scales, the washboards, the birdcage, the furniture, the spools, the wood bowls, the cheese boxes and the wood buckets. Thanks for taking us along. Totally enjoyed!!
I am a fellow crock lover and have many of them situated around my house. I also follow the Crazy Lamp Lady and this video reminds me of hers. So many memory of things I remember from my Mum and Nana’s houses!!!
I had a little metal cash register when I was a little girl. ❤️
It seems like so much fun browsing in all those antique shops. We don't have anything like that around here.
I love looking through antique stores. Thanks for taking us along. I like your scale. I was quite surprised by the price. Great deal. Feel better.
Thanks for watching!
OMG did I just see a gas tank? Wow! So many great things and so small a budget (and space). I would've loved to make over that bread box at the beginning of the tour. The clocks that aren't for sale must be pure torture to a buyer. What a great trip, I sure do wish I was there.
Lol, I watch crazy lamp lady too 🤣 😂
$18! That's awesome!
I made a full size blue Jean quilt for my son when he was three, he is 39 now and it’s still his favorite quilt. All I know is it was so heavy. Lol
Well, where to begin? Salt and pepper shakers galore! My mama would have went wild, she started collecting them before I was even thought of, she had so many at the time of her passing it took us a full day just to get them properly packed up. She would have spent hours looking through all of those. While I absolutely love an antique shop/store I was overwhelmed by the amount of stuff in this one. And, oh the nostalgia of it all, so many memories in this one place. That electricity meter lamp was definitely a unique piece, seems my eyes are mostly drawn to things you just don't see very often. One of a kind for sure. Thank you for taking us along on another outing with you and Chris. Y'all stay safe! xx
I think it's very nice your husband goes along with you. My husband wants no part of it. ❤
Oh, Coldwater Antiques! I just love going there with my husband! Always make a point to stop there when we're out that way! So many great treasures! Thanks for sharing!
I love the scale and 2 of the hutches !!!! Great tour.
Oh Yvonne …I AM SO HAPPY you got that scale !!! 💛👍💛 When you showed us the price ….. yes please !!!
Who sets ALL THOSE CLOCKS if the power goes out and/ or the time changes ??? Oh my goodness!
These tours stir up all sorts of memories ! That clock that was made out of a “electric meter box” was so unique. All the gorgeous old wood tones on the furniture… I have watched this twice ! 😳😳😳😳 LOL!!!
Thank you for these tours !!! I told my husband we need to take a trip to Michigan….they have wonderful Antique Malls !
💛💛💛❄️❄️❄️💛💛💛
I make Jean quilts and also memory quilts from tshirts and other articles of clothing. Would like to share a picture but this forum won’t let me.
You can share via my Facebook
There was also a treasure trove of Boyds Bears figurines there WOW wish I was there... starting at 25:07 WOW WOW WOW...
Thank you thank you thank you so much. As I've said before, there are no real good antique stores and thrift stores. We only have goodwill and salvation army but I love these mom and pop shops that you get to explore. Continue sharing your shopping adventures with us please. Thank you
Always entertaining and informative !
All the salt and pepper shakers just made me smile! Soooo cute!
That's what I call a antique store...so full of everything. I would want it all..l love your finds!
The brown and tan pitcher with the opens places in top may be a planter. I have one also but it had several openings that are round on the sides.
Thanks for bringing us along. I always enjoy it.
Love the HALO in your introduction!
All of your videos are wonderful: informative, educational and your techniques are always professional and fun! Thank you for sharing so much!
That was fun🤗 I also would of got the scales for 18.00
I live in MI as well, just SW of Lansing and I have also been to the Coldwater Antique Mall! The owner is super nice; I have to get back down there when Spring actually arrives in MI!😃
Hello fellow Michigander..
This is my VERY FIRST time on your channel! I ENJOYED it very much! Takes me back about 20yrs..I was in my 20s then! I started a salt and pepper shaker collection. After moving a couple times, I got rid of them. I wish I would have saved them NOW! This video inspires me to start my collection again! Thank you! It will be fun!! 😊
Our antique store is a quarter the size your's is! I wished I lived closer. I would have scarfed up that scale too especially for that price! Love my scales! Thanks for taking us along!
That was so much fun! I’m home sick and this was a bright spot in my icky day..
My favorite items were the blue and white lidded crocks. I'd never seen them before and would love one to use and for home decor. I'd also like the blue depression glassware.
Great video Yvonne. The odd looking pitcher with 3 openings @ 33:04 I believe to be a strawberry planter pitcher. It resembles a brown dip glazed Pfaltzgraff one on Poshmark for $30. It’s an odd piece as strawberry pots don’t come in the form of a jug nowadays. Thank you for sharing, and I look forward to future videos.
Really beautiful things! I made one of the denim quilts and I loved it. Used to take it to the rink when my daughter was playing Ringette! I think that the crock with the opening may have been used as a cream separated! Thanks for sharing. Love from NB Canada!
Have so much fun 🤩 with you at the antique malls in your area! Love your rusty scale! Maybe I will be able to find one at my local antique mall! Hope so😁
I don’t how you got out of there with just two items. I applaud your self restraint! ~ Linda
Thanks for bringing us along Yvonne & Chris. Loved the Amish furniture, and the olive green Indiana glassware. Almost impossible to get it in Australia, as the postage is twice what the items cost!
Oh my gosh so many crocks I just want one so bad. I live in CT and have been on the hunt for one to put my rolling pin collection in and am not having much luck so far. There were so many at that antique mall you were at I just wish I could find some like that here that wouldn't break the bank.
I saw several Toby mugs but never caught the price…I inherited a few from my Gram.
I kind of miss the type of videos you used to do when I first discovered you on UA-cam. I enjoy watching you upcycle "smalls" like the stools, bread boxes, frames, windows, pottery etc... I live very close to many antiques malls & shops, so for me, I can look at that stuff any time. Sorry, don't want to sound negative. I love when you use the IOD molds, transfers & papers on items...
Prices are so high at antique stores how would you make a profit!! I lived the little wooden bird!! Great video. Thx
Take care of yourself Yvonne.
Thank you
I could spend hours in that place...lol I'm going thrifting and antique shopping tomorrow. Im looking for tops of a rake. My guy is a truck driver I go with alot headed your way in a few weeks hope close enough to come check out your booth.
Oh.. I hope you have some luck💕
Great video😍🥰🤩
If you ever come to Texas go to Canton Tx, they hold trades day's on first of every month tons of stuff of little of everything
Oh… sounds fun
lol I would have needed a truck😳🤣I know you go all the time but there was a lot of things you don’t see in Delaware! Awesome Tour…thanks for sharing😊kim
Thanks for the tour as we have nothing in my area that has anything like this.
My guess for the little brown jug w/the sides missing next to the pour spout is for drinking right from the pitcher? PS: the background music you are using in the part of the video when you look at the fans is perfect for wandering the aisles of an antique mall. Some of the YT music can be a little overwhelming at times. Just me... not sure what others think & I sure don't mean to be "that person" as I'm loving your content!🙏
Oh my goodness, I loved the dough bowl! Looks like fantastic place to shop! My daughter lives in Jackson, Michigan, is that close?💕😊
Do you ever venture down to angola area? Theres a huge antique store down town, and during nice weather theres always a nice flea market/antique shop west of angola on 20 i believe.
Funny you should ask.. what though about extending the tour down there too. Since we visit there quite often too 🤗
O my goodness, I saw a manger set just like my Moms. Do theses places have a website? If you keep doing this you may have to become our personal shopper….. lol
I like antiques. But, some of them look so chippy and dirty, I couldnt pay a lot of money for them! I know they are worth more if they are as is. But, it's just a little icky to me. I love what you do to thrift finds. It looks worn, but it's nice and clean.
Love your videos but I would love you to read off the prices, as you go, as I cannot read the,.
Like that rusty scale. Will you paint it?.
My concern is with the amount of inventory that these booths carry how do they make any money? We all know that the owners are still out there shopping and buying!
❤😊😊😊
please don't tell me that potato masher was 395.00 that it was 3.95????? at 24: 49????
You can never watch too much crazy lamp lady
I need your opinion on what you think about what I can't do with this please
Where is this
