50 Stories: UBC/UBC - The Tale of Two Clubs

Join the HOSR Committee 50 in 2023 as we focus our Story Hours on the historic events that allowed for the origins and shaping of Boathouse Row.
This 'story' demonstrates the growth of rowing in sister cities - Philadelphia and Boston. Bill Miller, Union Boat Club, and Claudia Siegel and John Basinski, University Barge Club, present the Clubs' parallel histories and the camaraderie they've been sharing since 1946.
This is our fifth in our 2023 series of Story Hours dedicated to recording the history of our sport in Philadelphia and around the world, and finding a means to institutionalize a collective archive of rowing documents and materials.
