DK it’s so nice to hear how much pride you take in Pittsburgh. I was born and raised in Ny but moved to Pittsburgh for 4 years and it was the best 4 years of my life. I miss the city and hope to return this year for a game and for the draft in 2026

Good morning DK - Born and raised as a native NJ'ian, but also a Steelers fan. As much as I would love to see a Superbowl played in Pittsburgh, having one here in NJ wasn't the best idea. Granted it wasn't that cold, but it was cold enough. And it was a logistical and traffic nightmare. Regardless, having this event take place in Pittsburgh is amazing in itself and it makes me happy to hear that Pittsburgh will be hosting such event. Congratulations to the Pittsburgh people that made this happen! Well deserved! Can't wait to come out of the Ft Pitt tunnel and look over to my left!!!
Sorry for the late comment DK but we had a tornado 17 miles from me yesterday which puts a lot of things in perspective, we are fine but grateful, so happy Mr Rooney got this done for the city and listening to you brag about my hometown just makes me feel great! I AM SO PROUD TO BE FROM PITTSBURGH!
Im a steelers fan that lives in Atlanta. My Dad and I went to Pittsburgh for Training Camp in 2022 and we loved Pittsburgh the city was beautiful the people were really friendly and to top it all off Primanti Brothers was really worth the hype. Excited for the draft in 2026

J1Q: Have you heard or seen anything about how DeMarvin Leal is doing? He seems to have taken his diet/exercise more serious from last year. No more puffy face. Some commented he lost fat but gained muscle 💪 thereby "looking leaner" Saw he swiped a reporters mic to briefly interview Queen 🤣
Batman came to Pittsburgh first 😂, finally the NFL draft too. For those that don't know The Dark Knight Rises was partially filmed in the city. I was working a contract job there at the time. Saw a tumbler batmobile in person. Will never forget it.
Once Russell Wilson said he came on the visit and hit the weight room on the walk around. I knew that was specials so I know he’s going to embrace the city and-the team Let’s go Steelers here we go.
It's hard to believe that the NFL didn't play a Super Bowl in Pittsburgh, or hold a draft during the glory years of the Steelers. Good on Mr. Rooney for making it happen!

No matter how many people get exposed to the city it’s still pittsburgh and that’s not a bad thing. The minute pittsburgh embraces that and stops aspiring to compete with actual big market cities I think pittsburgh will be much cooler. I say this as a Pittsburgh native born and raised. The draft will be cool to host it will be cool but it won’t make the city different or be this catalyst for pittsburgh to finally break through this glass ceiling people think is there.

My family is from the Burgh, and we’re proud of our blue collar, steel making past. I currently work in the steel industry.
