Joel does speak about that in another video. I am not sure of the title, though. But he talked about how storing food in a bunker isn't the right way, as we will be hiding away to save ourselves a few months of life. But we are to be sharing and helping our brothers and sisters. One person said that he stores food to be able to share. Joel also advised knowing yourself. If you are a recluse planning to open your home to strangers may not work for you.
The parable of the 10 bridesmaids may be the best advice, though. Five were not ready to make it through the long night because they hadn't enough oil. Oil represents Holy Spirt. So, we may need to get into practice relying on Him rather than our own ability to plan ahead.
It’s amazing to see those who are focused on Russia use the Hebrew word “rosh” meaning head (context in Ezekiel, Head of State) transliterated as Russia. I guess when Moses was writing about bald headed men in Leviticus he really meant bald Russians. Love you guys and your teachings.

It's is very easy to pinpoint where Magog is using the Ezekiel text alone. Ez 38:6 says Beth Togarmah comes from "the remote parts of the North". This region is also where Gog comes from. So Magog and Beth Togarmah are either the same region, or two regions right next to each other, north of Israel. Beth Togarmah includes modern day countries of Armenia and Georgia ( both border with Turkey ) and some scholars even claim it includes eastern Turkey itself. Adding to the fact that Meshech and Tubal are without a doubt part of modern day Turkey, this is now overwhelming proof that Gog will come from Turkey. So this whole theory that it is Russia just because in Hebrew mentions "Rosh" its absurd, really, for many reasons. The main one is that there is, and never was, a land of Rosh. Unlike the other names that are historically proven to exist ( in the time of Ezekiel and afterwards ), Rosh is not a land. This was very ignorantly used to represent Russia just because it sounds similar. In Hebrew means head or chief, as most people will know by now. Another reason is that all the regions mentioned in the invasion are Muslim countries. Russia is not Muslim, quite the opposite, and not likely to morph into one in the next decades. Therefore, it is biblical and safe to say that Gog is the leader of a Muslim confederacy with it's HQ in Turkey. Even in geopolític terms it makes sense, as Turkey was the center of a wide Muslim caliphate, and it's president wants to revive those days. It is possible that Gog ( who definitely is already alive today ) will very soon take the opportunity and the door that Russia opened with it's invasion in Ukraine, to move in to Israel, as they see America, and the west in general, are too weak to do anything about it. The pieces of the puzzle are certainly fitting into place and we can now see it's moving so fast, I can see this happening within this decade. It's that close.

And that makes sense geopolitically, because Russia is the absolute powerhouse in Syria-just north of Israel. In Gen 10 the sons of Japheth, whom are also mentioned in Ezekiel, were Gomer, Tubal, Magog, Mesheck, and a few more not mentioned. From these the maritime peoples spread out into their territories by their clans within their nations, each with its own language….that practically tells you Gog of Magog is a reference to one leader who will lead many nations, possibly all the nations of the World, saveth those who love Jesus and the nation of Israel, who will wage war against God and Israel and will eventually be destroyed by God’s power.

The prophecy in Ezekiel 38 may point to a event described in the 20th chapter of Revelation.

A person could apply bible prophecy to anything they desire but it doesn't make their interpretation correct. A persons biase could misinterpret biblical prophecy. Identifying Gog and Magog, the Kings of the North and South
Ezekiel 38:1-2: The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal;
Magog, Meshech, and Tubal were all sons of Japheth, who was one of the three sons of Noah. Jepheth and his family migrated to the area of modern-day Russia (Genesis 10:2-3).
Gog is a person who rules over the land of Magog (Russia). Magog means the "Prince of Rosh." (Gog) Rosh is the old root word for the land of Russia.
God informs Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38:15, "You will come from your place in the far North” (the Hebrew word means "the uttermost part of the North." What's north of Jerusalem? Moscow. What is north Russia? Nothing. Meshech is the old name for the capital of Western Russia, which is known today as Moscow. Tubal is identified as a city in Siberia.
Gog (Russia) is the King of the North. The King of the South is an Arab-African coalition.
Ezekiel 38:5-6 identifies the rest of the nations that are dragged into battle between Gog and Magog, versus the Kings of the South:Persia, “Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets,also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops-the many nations with you.”
Persia is a reference to modern-day Iran.
Cush describes present-day Ethiopia and the black nations of Central Africa.
Put and Libya are located in northern Africa.
Gomer is the people who settled in Germany.
Beth Togarmah is Asia Minor and Turkey.
Note: these nations will basically align with Russia in battles against the King of the South and later on the Antichrist.
Sometime before the beginning of the seven-year tribulation, the King of the South (an African-Arab coalition described in Daniel 11) moves to invade Israel. The African-Arab coalition initially has the upper hand, but is ultimately defeated by the King of the North (Russia).
After a short time of peace, seeing an opportunity to enhance their domination, Gog and Magog (Russia and its Leader) proceed with their own invasion of Israel. However, God has no intention of allowing Russia to take over the land of Israel. The Antichrist intercepts Gog and Magog and defeats them. Note that two battles are described here, separated by at least 2,500 years.
Who is the King of the South?
Doesn't the Bible teach us that not all nations will accept Gog and his agenda?
Some people who study these types of things have claimed that Gog and Magog is in reference to the powerful Scythian Empire, 8th century BC to 3rd Century BC. But regardless of who they were, the prophecy about Gog and Magog in Ezekiel has nothing to do with the 21st Century or beyond. Ezekiel is talking about things that happened 1000s and 1000s of years ago. Just because Ezekiel is referring to the " Time of the End " doesn't necessarily mean it is referring to the second advent of Christ and the end of the world. This type of terminology is often used throughout the Bible in both the OT and NT to describe the the destruction of Jerusalem and it's Temple which as we all know has happened twice. The second time it happened in AD 70 it is known as the " End of the Age" or the " End of the Jewish Age " Armageddon is the same. Hollywood wants us all to think Armageddon hasn't happened yet, so do Christians who love churning out Vid after Vid on the spine chilling topic called Armageddon.
The truth is you won't find any college trained Reformed Theologians, and many other types of similar scholars, who believe Armageddon is something future. They believe Armageddon found it's total fulfillment in the Jewish wars AD 66--73.

Israel has never been, not is it the world. I know Reformed theologians have wanted to see it that way after Luther struck out in his attempts to evangelize Jews and decided they were unreachable. When Revelation specifies that the 12 tribes are sealed, it is the 12 tribes. To often when theologians run into direct contradictions to their theories they just wash them over with the brush of metaphor. I am at work, so I can’t find the reference, but there are prophecies that speak of Jesus’s first coming, the Jews rejection of Him, and later God returning to them like the wife of His youth. Replacement theology just fails in too many places.
