Don't ever feel silly... the whole fandom was crying at that moment between Angel and Buffy. It's brutal.
SMG does emotional monologues better than anyone
The point being that for shows of the time the entire audience expected Angel to be cured and there would be a happy ending to the season. But Buffy as usual breaks the convention but first pretends that it will play along before ripping your heart out.
The Joyce and Spike brief chat cracks me up every time. "So, do you live somewhere here in town?" Lol. Theirs is a unique relationship. 😉

It's ok Dakara I still think of the last scene every time I hear that song and it took way to long for me to stop crying anytime I saw that ending showing your emotions in my opinion makes the reaction better everybody knows then you're not fake we want real reactions not fake ones and you're one of the realest on UA-cam!! You may have missed it but Willow did in fact tell Xander to go and tell Buffy what they were doing. Instead he deliberately lied because of his severe dislike of Angel.
This one's always a tearjerker no matter how many times one sees it, it's still so effing sad 😭 💔
The Xander lie is so egregious because he confirmed to Buffy that she had no one in her corner (which wasn't true, but in that moment we know for a fact she felt like she had nothing left to lose, it another blow to her vulnerable emotional state)
Spike: “God, he’s gonna kill her.”
"This is Spike, we're in a band."
Darla: close your eyes, turns Angel into a vampire
"That's everything, huh? No weapons... no friends... no hope... Take all that away and what's left?"

Dru pretending to be Jenny is one of the cruelest things to happen. Even with the deaths. Dru not telling Spike she killed a slayer always bugged me. I'm almost convinced she didn't know Kendra was a slayer. This was a great reaction. Thanks!
The previous episode you watched where they showed a flashback scene of Angel getting his soul back he hadn't remember any of the things he done until it all came flashing at him all at once
