I honestly don't get why the refs are breaking up every single fight these playoffs, it doesn't feel like playoff hockey of the boys aren't hitting and fighting.
Tkachuk had a hat trick and McDavid scored four points, both of which are great performances.
On the other hand, Markstrom saved 22/28 for a save percentage of .786, Smith had 7-10 for a .700, and Koskinen had 32-37 for a .865.
The most concerning thing here for the Oilers is that they had the better goalie in this game and lost. They need to either play better defense and limit Calgary's chances or shoot more shots on goal.
Ugh, I really hate tight, low scoring, goalie battle types of games. Hopefully they can score a few more goals next game.

Honestly, for Markstrom that was the worst playoff goaltending performance I've seen, when you factor in expectations. I'm sure there's been worse, but not for someone considered top 3 in the league. Like, what the heck happened?
To be fair, he has struggled against the Oilers in the season, and I kinda expected him to have a bad game during the series. At least the Flames offense bailed him out like he did for them in Round 1.
But yeah, this can’t happen again. He did look better in the third period despite giving that one tying goal, so I assume he will settle down.

Soft goals on Marky's part although he came big at the end, and some horrible puck luck. Broken stick leads to goal, puck somehow bounces right to Draisatl after a dinger on the post against Koskinen. Terrible luck tbh.

Flames were lucky to come out of that with the victory. Great performance by everyone except the goalie and the coach. Markstrom should have been pulled after 3, as he clearly was not on his game. Made it much harder than it needed to be.
