I disagree. I think she believed him 100% but noticing that the girls were doubting him, she just tried all ways, to convince them. I think she was played big time, is my feeling.

I had a similar situation when a friend claimed she had breast cancer. She asked us not to mention anything to her mother, she never spend a day off work. She went from complaining everyday to saying nothing at all. When you get a gut feeling you just know.
Yep, my friend did this too! Said she had cervical cancer but we all found out it was just for attention. What is wrong with people!? I'd be terrified of the karma that could come from that... could get some real cancer somewhere down the line...

An acquaintance in college lied to all his friends that he was fighting cancer for months three years ago. When the truth came out, all hell broke loose and all his gang dropped his ass.
I felt genuinely sick towards that situation because that same year, I had a cancer scare after having a stomach ulcer for four years and nodules were found inside my stomach.
And two years after that, in 2019, my father battled prostate cancer and thankfully won against it last fall. I confronted the friend and he apologized to me but we grew apart.
Repulsive thing to do, i watched my aunt work untill she just coudlnt anymore, the job she gove her life too, a dedicated and highly respected professional, she give it her all till the very end, and went out an absolute inspiration, how any could pretend they have cancer are cancer!!
Why would someone lie about having breast cancer if they still go to work and eventually say nothing at all?? That sounds more like she did have cancer to me.

Bravo signed a contract with Vicki back in 2006 describing that she can't be fired unless the show is cancelled.
What saved Vicki was the fact that nobody could really tell if she knew about Brooks lies or not. In the case of Phaedra she admitted it

This always pissed me off. My father passed away from stage 4 non-hodgkin's lymphoma, it's an incredibly aggressive form of cancer...it would have been so evident if he really had it.

And one of the most evil and heinous. My father defeated cancer at 75 five months into his prognosis. A former acquaintance lied about cancer and we alienated him ASAP. I had a cancer scare at 24. I can't deal.
