Frappe Snowland. My fav track to use my skills at and I love that straight near the end. The snaking feels the best for me there

This was a very …enlightening review.
I feel like GCN Mushroom Bridge should be lower on the ranking. It had a lot of things that made it a fan favorite in Mario Kart Double Dash, such as mushroom cars that give you free mushrooms, a sidewalk that you could drive on, and you could drive on top of the bridge, but it was all taken out in the remake, ruining the spirit.

Anyways, i presume your list is based on competitive play rather than a casual playthrough, but i did agree with some spots.

This was my first mario kart and after having replayed it recently... you're absolutely right, I think the game is boring and the track selection isn't very good. I still hate double dash with a passion and think it's worse than even this from what I've seen from videos (since I don't want to fucking play through a boring hideous slog of a game) but whatever.
Anyway, I think your ranking's pretty cool. The points you made on each track make sense. On my own ranking I put mario circuit on top tier too (maybe not the highest), it's just I wouldn't put any ds track above b tier. In fact, not counting remakes the rule applies to every pre-mkwii track except maybe something from super circuit. One thing I *strongly* disagree with is I think wario stadium is one of the best tracks in the game (I actually enjoy the bumpy item box section, having to align yourself before going in), but I haven't played it enough to be sure. Bowsers castle 2 no air movement felt way more disgusting to me somehow after playing the super circuit version.
Also, DK pass much like airship fortress is a track I feel was greatly improved in 7 simply because of 7s superior drifting style, and I think pretty much every drifting track in the game (I mean the mostly "twisty" ones heavy on drifting sections, to be clear) would benefit from it, *especially* all the super circuit retros and fucking nitro bowsers castle. And I don't care much for mushroom bridge "losing it's identity" because I feel at least the driving on top of the bridge is a stupid idea which... _I guess_ would work even worse with mkds's presumably more precise controls compared to its gcn counterpart. Still a very questionable layout either way.
