Good review, Sir. I'm not too much into 1/16 scale, but when Andy revealed the upcoming M113 APC I told myself I would jump. I drove them, TC'd them and rolled around in the back of them back in the mid 80's. I know them like the back of my hand, even lo these many years ago.
I usually order 3 to 5 kits for German WW2 military vehicles and aircraft that I build for clients and museums. I also collect American vehicles for myself. Selling the German WW2 vehicles and aircraft brings in good money. The German camouflage is the best in my opinion, and although OD green can get old, I still love it. My dad was a military vehicle collector in Michigan, and my first vehicle was a Dodge weapons carrier. I also had 3 Universal carriers, which are my favorite. I recently ordered the Gecko Models Universal carrier and motor upgrade from Andy's, with four kits on the way. I plan to make one in a captured German style. It seems we share a similar interest in kits and military vehicles.
