If you have bachelor's degree you , then next step is pass ESOL praxis test then apply for job and when you r hired you will be told to do further studies you need to do. This is what I am told in virginia

E.L.L. "students are those who need extra help to get to fluency faster, especially those who need to improve their English in order to perform well in English-language subject classes at an English-language school." They are limited in English academic language that is required to succeed in school. Some identified as E.L.L. may only speak English but lack academic vocabulary. The definition you provide is too simplistic and misleading

I enjoyed your content of this video. It has wonderful useful information but😮you are condescending in your language toward teachers. For example making statements about teacher thinking the onus is on the students. That is an assumption and it’s wrong to assume teachers feel this way. I believe 90% of teachers want to help. That is old school thinking and it implies prejudges or unwillingness to make efforts. 😢

Hi Kayleen, you are right about that being a wrong assumption. And coming off as condescending is definitely not something I intended for. I do agree that the vast majority of teachers, myself included, want to help. Have a great day!
