After heavy rainy season and bad sea water conditions in Karachi, We decided to revert back to our basis of fresh water fishing, It was sudden program with my cousins. We have decided to explore Karachi and it's suburbs.
After listening too much about THADDO DAM/THADO DAM which is situated in GADAP the suburb of Karachi.
We headed towards the GADAP and THADDO DAM Early in the morning. The weather was pleasant and cloudy. We had best site seeing of KARACHI during ride one can easily compare it with the Northern area of Pakistan.
We can say that THADDO DAM is easily comparable with Changa Manga jungle and the little streams of Moola Chatook/Swat River. It's a heaven for Karachiites you can have picnic fishing and BBQ with family and friends. The best time to visit THADDO DAM is August and September.
We tried to do fishing there but due to Dusty Water it wasn't possible for us to do Fishing there. We had enjoyed the fresh water stream and sight seeing at THADDO dam Karachi.

Hub dam is another option.
The path from sur jani is one of the best scenic locations for Karachi people. Very twisty turns mountain range type {not very high}
But there's a serious issue of security on this path so normally people get to hub dam through orangi town towards hamdard University Road. That road is relatively safe but not as beautiful as path from surjani.
