    Thanks for sharing that much useful information about bipolar and unipolar control scheme, and concept of dead band. My question is that ' what is the effect of dead band on output and what is the limit of that dead band ? '

    Sir, I thought the switching pattern in the inverter is generated as follows; When control signal (sine wave) greater than the carrier signal (triangular), the top device is ON and when control signal (sine wave) lesser than the carrier signal (triangle), the bottom device is ON. In your lecturer it is just opposite to it. Is there any difference in both the cases. Or both have same nature on the operation of inverter?

      At the end you will get two signals which are complimentary to each other. One will be sent to leg A and the other to leg B. What happens when we reflect the two legs will give the same answer.
