I don't use the word underrated often, but I can't believe more people don't talk about Push's (still) spotless run of the last few decades. Keep up the good work
DECADES?!?? dudes last couple albums been really damn good but some
Of his early stuff is kinda hit or miss
A spotless run wouldn't include French Montana's hook on Doesn't Matter 😂😂😂
@@ezrahaskard3527 nah man, Lord Willin and Hell Hath No Fury are classics
@@ezrahaskard3527What early stuff? He's only got 4 albums and they're all elite.
Clipse were making classics (only classics) since 2000. That's 2 decades btw.
Educate yourself bruh. And don't tell me we're counting mixtapes.
@@hussein6173 if anything his most of his mixtapes are just as good almost better
though pusha’s albums contain a few duds here and there i’d still say his discography is very consistent with or without no malice
Diet coke might just be the nastiest sample flip in pushas discog
Imagine having an album where there's Pharrell who produces half of the songs & Kanye who produces the other half, only The Coke King can do that.
It helps that two of those Producers were 2/3 members of a defunct supergroup as well 😎😎
@@williamwolfxrivera2418 Child Rebel Soldier?
@@JTS1128 Yep
That Beyoncé sample must’ve cost a whole retirement plan.
Probably just gifted it to Kanye honestly
Pharrell n Ye produced this together and they both close with Jay x Bey so probs didn’t need to clear it as such
It’s one of the worst songs on the album, so it wasn’t worth the money. That and the Cudi song are the worst on the album.
@@bungle3912 in my opinion it was the worst, the only song i literally can’t listen to willingly
@@bungle3912 that is the Cudi song isn’t it?
i expected way more samples on record, still well produced album
Ye only produced half of the album so that’s probably why
Maybe because half the production on this album is done by The Neptunes, that’s why when ye and others produces it , it’s mostly chopped up samples.
ye & pharrell rlly came w some good ass beats. wasn't a single miss for me on the album.
Let the Smokers Shine the Coups definitely sounds like there’s a sample in there. Shows the magic from Pharrell.
Pharrell very rarely samples that's why
I expected another SAMPLE heavy production with this Pusha T project, nonetheless, it's still great.
Pharrell doesn't really sample
Only album entirely produced by P and Ye this album is a classic not to mention the crazy delivery and bars Pusha T gave us
50/50 Pharrell Williams x Ye
Actually the album has several co-producers.
I know the album has co producers but read every description Ye and P are in every single track🤦🏿♂️ of course separately, Kanye produces 6 tracks and Pharrell 6
Dope!! Please show Nas more love in this channel. He’s had a dope run with Hit Boy the last 3 projects. Would love to see every sample from those. Hoping you’ll do one for Kings Disease 3 whenever it drops this year.
Can’t believe Pusha T is rapping over Beatles music. 2022 is a crazy year for rap!
Luxury rap

Funny coincidence, both Drake and Pusha T rapped over a sample of a Beatle/Post Beatle song, Drake over Michelle and now Pusha over Jealous Guy
The Beyonce sample was beautiful af
That Beyonce sample A+
at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buff
Based and corndogpilled
The Beyoncé sample is just stunning. Pusha really leading the game rn
That's Mr West - Pusha killed it though for sure
Not only crediting the vocalist for something a producer did, you pointed out the worst sample on the tape. Congrats on fucking up two times in one comment.
K dot is coming back, yeah Pusha the leader now, but for how long?
@@liooeyabie yup and k dot the leader rn
'Six Day War' by Colonel Bagshot was released in 1971, not 2013.
DJ Shadow's Six Days (and its remix) both sample this song and those came out in 2002.
why is the sample from just so you remember credited as being from 2013? it came out in the 70s
How the hell, can you listen to that chopped tf up, chipmunked up "1+1" in the final track and realize that is what it is? Incredible.
I thought the exact same thing! And I use to love that song heavy when that project originally dropped!
The writing credit would have been a big hint
because kanye is a genius lol
@@mami1005 You praising the worst sample on the tape bro yikes
@@xX_MC_OvU_PvP_YT_Xx stay mad
Mannn I’ve been looking for the sample on ‘Hear Me Clearly’ for over a month now. Shit starting to hurt my brain same way I’ve been searching 4 years for the vocal sample on ‘If you know you know’🥴.
It could very well not be a sample on HMC,its a simple melody
IMO Above all else this album really proved why it's important to have your own sound as a producer. Without even looking at the credits of each song, I could tell if the song was produced by Pharrell or Ye by listening to the first few seconds. As someone who grew up on rock music and then started really appreciate hip-hop and rap, I equate it to having a very unique guitar sound/tone.
6 days sample was Used in DJ shadows classic tune. 6 days. "At the starting of the week...... It's only mondayyyy"
just realised chance sampled jealous guy as well on juice
Love this album cuz it’s like Daytona got the college dropout treatment in terms of production
Common Bandstand W.
Finnaly we’re bakc
Not sure what's more underrated... Pusha T? or Bandstand?
Just so you Remember is six days from dj shadow right?
Six Days from DJ Shadow is from Six Days War. Same with Pusha
If we talking Pharrell vs Ye, like how he titled the album, Ye won with the beats
What about the Six Days Sample on Just so you remember ?
It’s in the video
One of best albums of last decade
Production is crazy
And the BARS... damn
Six day war definitely didn’t come out in 2013.
Thank you for every single one of your vids 🙌❤️
Theres also some samples in neck and wrist, the scream I believe is bane or the riddler I can't remember but it's one of the.
I NEEEEEED to know what is sample off Neck and Wrist? That beat is wild
Originally produced by Pharrell
Pharrell usually makes his beats from the ground up with little to no sampling
my tiny brain would never and could never think of using that crack sample
So basically Kanye’s songs had samples but none of Pharell’s did.
could you do Rosalía's MOTOMAMI samples?
I would love this as well! That album is amazing! And I don’t even know Spanish that much!
this is not every sample tho...
kanye sampling classic 2000 song. fresh as fuck boy
Everything PUSHA T
What about let the smokers shine the coupe?
Chipmunk soul at its purest form
Keep it up! I am dropping 1 song a week for the next 3 years straight. It has never been done in music. Come along for the ride if you want. Stay blessed ! - Bryan
let’s go another bandstand sample album video 🙏🙏
The name of the album is way better than the album he should of saved it for a something better
Who else saw the bandstand on diet coke?
your intro is the most stylish thing on this site
What about the main loop in Brambleton? Is that not samples?
That's not a lot of samples.. 3 or 4 were on diet coke alone.
Thank you bandstand for releasing videos again 🙏🏻 you are truly great 💕
After 20+ years still No growth in his music...dude been talking about selling coke for the last 20 years...we all know he stopped pushing 3 years into his career
Ok and?
I felt like it had more samples but that's just me.
What abt the sample it’s almost Monday?
What is the song in the intro
Soooooo coooool!!!! I've loved your editting!! I wanna see Japanese songs remix!
I’m working on some personal grooves. I’m gonna do that 🤝 lol hope life is treating you good friend
This is not ever sample, missing like 5 more samples

Where would we be without you Bandstand
whats the intro song?
there's a sample of mos def and dj shadows six days from the tokyo drift soundtrack on just so you remember
Dj Shadow, Mos Def & that Tokyo drift song sampled Six Days War. Same with Just So You Remember
I love the new intro man
You are a god

NEW BANDSTAND 😩
Could’ve been a youtube shorts 😂

that 1974 jerry butler sample is REAL skills holy shit! that beyonce once was super dope too
So just so you remember Soul days ain’t sampled?
Oh the original sample is six day war got it
fire
🔥🔥🔥
hey
Can someone explain the 1st one to me? What do you mean by speed 28. 22? like I understand speeding up and slowing down the sample and or also pitching up or down, but not sure what 28.22 means
sped up 28.22
@@Bandstand thank you for that . I guess I’m a little confused as an MPC user. By that specific number. You can tune, pitch shift, or time stretch to a specific bpm, just not familiar with 28.22
👐🏿👐🏿
This was dope af
jeen-yuhs
Nasty production🔥🔥
That was Quick! Thank you Bandstand ❤️❤️
I can't believe the 'as you come out to the light' on 'Just So You Remember' isn't a sample?!
It is, but for some reason it’s not credited
@@Kentuckyjuul I’ve tried to find the sample on Google and I can’t. Usually, you’d type in those exact lyrics and it’ll come up. It must be super obscure as nothing’s on Google.
Could you add who theyre produced by too?
Peep description
I have a feeling Hear Me Clearly samples Yonkers, you can hear the repeated clanking under the drums and also the SpongeBob sounding horn interpolates the bass in a way
Though not a sample, but Pusha interpolated lyrics from "Free Mason" by Rick Ross on the track "Hear Me Clearly"
They really sample the most random shir and make it sound so beautiful
Push asked me to tweak that Butler sample for him. Alvin and I complied
Pusha T is easily the most underrated rapper of all time. That large cocaine bust destroyed his acceptance on a main stream scale.
SIMPLY. LEGENDARY.
0:23 why y’all skip all the vocals sampled from Colonel Bagshot?
HE GOT A BEYONCE SAMPLE CLEARED!??
I fucking love this channel with every fiber of my being
I always wondered how producers pull these samples , like records from the 80s or 70s different genres you wouldn’t expect .. do they just really listen to EVERYTHING ?
Ye would just take random records and see if he could flip them - "five beats a day for three summers"
The mos def nostalgia on just so you remember though 🥹
