At first it seems so slow then I realize the size of rocks, it's hard digging! Solid operating! No wasted movement, there's a reason why those terex boxes are smooth, no one's dropping huge boulders in them!
The shovel at the boulder hole was a 1200, replacing a 245. When it went down it was always me trying to load the same stuff as here with a 115 Z-iv. TOUGH digging! Thanks, Pal!
How do you get to go into a mining site and film? That would be pretty awesome to see how a mining operation works. I never been in that trade before. Just building trades, highway work, and pipeline work. I love watching the big iron.
Moto. Thay do that on different excavators I have noticed. I am going to ask someone at a expo. if I ever go to one again becouse I would like to know why 2.
Dale olson you’re right that the rod side of the piston has less surface are and power but it doesn’t matter which way round you mount the cylinder as the non rod side of the piston will always provide power for lift.
That rock has ne really confused. I don't think I've ever seen riverbed looking material in Appalachia like this. It kinda looks like rotten sandstone, but I can't really tell. Is this previously moved material?
It's a personal preference. The biggest issue with loading over the side in hard rock is that you run the risk of big rocks rolling off the side of a truck and hitting the fuel/ hydraulic tank, or possibly getting suck in-between the rear tires or drive train. That risk is eliminated with tail end loading.
yeah, quit movin the bucket around when dumping in the box, yer not smearing icing on a cake, hahaha. Just dump in the middle dammit and let gravity do the work to pile. Still another great vidya from PA.m. :)
Payne Killer i my self have never loaded blasted ledge but you are absolutely right. If you kill the machine that earns your paycheck whats the good of that? No need to fill the bucket every single time because youll kill it. Gotta baby that machine because you have to run it every day. Especially need to baby a machine that’s already showing its age because you will really kill it. I doubt this guy was trying to impress people i bet he was just running the way he always does. And to the people saying to not worry about those trucks drivers and drop that dirt in the bed thats fucked up those trucks i can guarantee are double there age and deserve to not have the shit best outta them. This guy knows what hes doing.

Another great video from PAmining!

Awesome footage awesome, how many tons were loaded in this quarry per truck? Keep up the good work
The ex operator has good control of bucket. Enjoyed🚜🇺🇸👍
Was that excavator originally ordered to be a front shovel? It caught my eye that the boom rams are mounted upside down to typical excavators.
Umm no that's how all Hitachi 1200s are lol
Moto.

Dale olson its the same cylinder if you flip it upside down or not lol... does not generate more power lmao

They mount them upside down in that fashion to protect the seals from rock, dirt, dust and other debris
👍👍👍
Thanks for the video!
Doing a walk around of that machine?
I did a 1200 documentary years ago. Been meaning to redo it. Thanks
Thank you for the reply. I'll look for it.
Good smooth operation
Anyone who operates large shovel fast is not experienced...
That is shot rock not soft sand kids..
motor head1 I was just getting ready to say... I don’t think all the armchair operators on here know how hard it is to work shot rock.
@@CRQ5508 large machines are slower they have no clue just kids talking nonsense
That Hitachi should be loading that truck in 3minutes flat. Bucket looks small for a 1200 those aren't big trucks

Semangat lurrr
Can you explain why usually americans load their trucks over the back? Here in europe whe load them most over the side, wich goes quicker.

Slow as molasses. Operator placing those buckets like he's afraid of disturbing the driver.
Looks like his first day on the excavator, or he is sleeping during work.
You guys ever hear the story of the tortoise and the hare.....
This is a rock quarry son, not a construction site full of alcoholics and drug addicts. They tolerate no cowboy bullshit.

Mantap Bosku 👍
He can come run my equipment anyday. As someone who pays for the equipment I hate cowboys but love seeing skill and patience.
clearly y'all never worked in a mine site before nor had to dig in straight rock. 😂
Ese operador recien esta aprendiendo oesta de sueño
Must be his first day on the job... that was painfull to watch
@Payne Killer .....Nice!
He's 62 lol. May be slow, but definitely operated more equipment than most of us have

@@blacksheep9734 actually that's because it's running in Eco mode which cuts the engine speed
PAmining ahhhh I figured something was going on. Didn’t expect it to have a eco mode 👍🏻
👍
Lái chậm quá. Sợ hư xe à
To slow loading
Too slow loading
He had a passenger outside the cab...I would be slow too!
No he isn't a good operator. Has nothing to do with the passenger
😏💪👈✌
Not the most efficient operator.
can u do better...looks like rock to me not sand
He's 62, give em a break lol. And probably ran more equipment than any of us.
Yeah I could do better. The guy is killing production. Loose rock 1200 Hitachi let's go!
