this was great for me figuring out how to turn on the perfect amount of lights for me outside!!! I will try to show project afterwards thanks again!!!
Awesome! I would love to see it. Thanks!
Thank you for the reply. Its that time of the year to start using our permanent LED setups. Im just wanting to use them year eound with architectural accent lighting with the soft white leds on my SK-6812 strips.
I have a similar issue but with a different set of lights for each channel of a digquad. Still figuring it out.
Thanks. How did you get the preset icons like that? Is that WLED 14 beta?
Just add an emoji in the quick load label section of the preset🗼🎃🎅
@@showhomelighting5840 Whoa! I had no idea I could just select an emoji, cool! Thanks!
nice can you link where you got the lights from
Hey, I added the link in the description. Thanks!
Will these pot lights work with other brand lights or are they proprietary to the brand of strings you sell? I have x connect based pixels and would like to use these if possible.
Hey, ya you can cut the plug off and hard wire it to your system if you want. If your lights are WS2811 these won't work with that. These are SK6812 RGBW3000K not WS2811 RGB.
@@showhomelighting5840Do you have a source for 6000k?
Great videos
Is it possible to synch patterns with music using Athom?
Hey thanks, sorry you mean just using an Athom controller without wled?
I mean WLED, with music,, thnx
Ha ok ya that's what I figured. I have been playing around with ledfx, you can run it from your computer and it will take control of the wled controller and move the lights to the music. You can also install it on a seperate esp controller and run it from your phone with the ledfx app, which is what I plan on doing next. I'll let ya know how it goes. thx
Great stuff thnx
Hello can I add 2 Sensors to start the track sectors, to add 2 Sensors to start the pod light, to add 2 sensor and start the led streep?
This is possible with the right user mod uploaded to WLED and using the extra GPIO ports in the controller. There is lots of videos with people using the staircase mod with WLED and motion sensors to illuminate staircases. I think this same logic would work outside if you wanted lights to come on as you walk past a specific area. I have not done this yet, but I will start looking into it. Thanks!
@@showhomelighting5840 it is good idea.... It is similar to what you explain.
How many Sensors I can bring to GPIO on 1 esp32? ( because I will like to have 4 sectors each to have 2 Sensors to see me from where I came and to start the light from that direction)
Or it will by more easy to coonec each sector (from the 4) separate the 2 Sensors... But I am not sure If it is posibile to connect 4 esp32 în a whay so all the sectors to work later în just 1 big sector and play for exemple on Christmas sone presets like evreting it is just 1 big sector
@@showhomelighting5840 If you cane test and make a video I will be very Happy
You bet, I'll see what I can do and let you know when I have something working.
@@showhomelighting5840 thank you very much if you try to test this ... I think it would be the most helpful if you try to do this with as long address sectors as possible because what I want will be sector 1 = 200( addressable zones, 1 zone = 3 led of Ws2811 because the led streep is 60 led/m per 3 address, so 1 m =20 addressable zones), 2 = 174, 3 = 196, 4 = 227. From how many meters will do I have to make an injection point for the data signals to not be lost?
Cool
lol math is hard. I love though when people leave the mistakes in because everyone has made the counting mistakes before.
What kind of a controller are you using?
We had one custom built with an esp 32 16mb chip.
Curious what track you used?
These ones
