Out of the 5 broken noses I experienced in my life, 2 were from moshing for Avail on Long Island. I wouldn’t trade my messed up snoz for the world. I love this fucking band!
I first met TIm Barry in Murfreesboro, TN in 2005. He was crashing at a mutual friend's house and he asked me to take him to get some beer. He grabbed a 12-pack of Milwaukee's Best - BEAST! - and headed for the register. I said, "No, no, no. It's on me. Let's get something good!" I grabbed three 6-packs of Samuel Adams. I wonder if he still remembers that.
