I’m not 100% myself, but if you look at how Dante drives, you can see that it’s very jerky and rough, unlike most kart drivers who are unbelievably smooth. I lie somewhere in the middle of that, so I hold mine above middle but below the top, as it helps me to work with my driving style which is kind of strange in karting. But with Dante, as he holds his hands so high, it helps him to keep his very jerky style more consistent, easier to execute well, and likely more comfortable for him too; because it helps him yank the steering wheel from side to side more easily. Like I said not 100% sure, but I think what I said should be correct.
Hey, Reuben is correct, holding the wheel higher up allows me to have greater precision when I steer. It also allows me to turn left and right much faster. It's a position I couldn't find comfortable at all years ago, gradually over time I've got used to it/put my hands higher. Unlikely to be doing BIKC this year but thank you re Club100.
Would love some longer footage even if the laps are not perfect each time and also from other tracks such as Sandown park if possible because it is really interesting to watch your driving style
Nice one dude! Very close to that first turn I like!
I got a 40.5 at Crawley!
how come you hold the wheel towards the top if you dont mind me asking? Also good luck this year in BIKC if youre doing it and CLUB 100.

You must’ve gotten a bit scared going up those kerbs that looked scary especially at that speed.
Nah not for me, it's not scary anymore haha, maybe when i first did it
@@DanteDhillon if I did that I would be scared

I will try and do that in the future yes, I didn't actually record many laps in this one
rapid as always mate
Cheers mate :)
Also what was your fastest lap time
A low 01:04 I think? Didn't go out in the top karts so 01:03 I could've done
Hi I’m Bertie from Daytona Sandown 👋
