The horses are beautiful, and so are their stories (as of what we know so far), and I think that if a funny idea for a kitty pet equivalent of a horse being welcomed into the herd, I think a funny breed would be a shire or something, all the other horses nervous with this giant being welcomed and stuff, but find out that this giant horse is actually sweet or something.

This actually kinda inspired me to make a horse of my own for this clan gen situation. So I figured I give a little bit of detail/story here for anyone interested. Heads up, might be a long read. Patriot, as she was named, was a bit of an odd horse. A former military horse who sought to be free, she is a Morgan Mustang mix, formerly used by the second in command of the army. Being a black Sabino she stands out among the usual bay and brown of the military's steads, making a break for when Spirit caused some chaos at the fort. With a U.S. branded on her shoulder, and a fire in her, she found this roaming herd and came to it to seek shelter from the military. I imagine in this Clangen senario she's a random encounter being a "Branded" or "Tamed" horse (This world equal to a kitty-pet)
As someone who loves clangen and has grown up around horses this is super cool! Drawing horses is certainly not for the weak and you did amazing, just one note that you are completely welcome to disregard, in IRL horse herds, mares leave the herd and find a secluded area to have their foal, this is because stallions can be quite rough with foals (even their own) and a foal is most vulnerable the few hours after it is born. Again, this is just some random trivia and you have no obligation to include it, I just think it is an interesting fact ❤
Your art is so dang pretty! I honestly keep coming back to stare at it and enjoy the stories. XD Maybe you could try scenes from certain events or something. Ether way this is amazing and I cant wait for the next instalment!

To learn how to draw horses, might I recommend The Art of Aaron Blaise? He has a video on his channel on how to draw horses and it really made it a lot easier for myself to figure them out.
@Sunswirl_slays Well, I double the amount of moons that the in-game sprite is to get the horse’s age. Their designs I come up with just by taking inspiration from the sprites. For instance Artax is a brown tabby which is a very common color so I made him a bay. Takoda is a spotted cat in-game so I gave her a unique Appaloosa coat! And that’s basically it. Everything else, their backstories and things like that, I take from the game and just try to alter them to be more horse-like. For instance, Swift and Sunny are often jealous of each other’s prey in the game so I took that and made them argumentative because stallions aren’t usually big fans of other stallions. I hope that helps!
Omg I can't wait! Question: since in clan gen they are..cats and can have litters if up to 6..because they are cats and horses are unable to have 2 (and survive,in most cases the mother and at least 1 foal dies,but almost always the mother) how does that work? Edit: dont stress on the breeds too much,very few have unique physical attributes,I can only think of 2 (or 3 depending on your opinion on Arabians) of the top of my head,fjords/Norwegian fjords and friesens,clydestales and shires are very similar so I'm not counting them
