Fighting heat to this was badass I remember I accidentally switched serph (spelled it wrong I think?) out and he called him a coward and lowered the parties defense I was like. "I'm finna kick his ass" lmao
More than the first battle against Heat, this uplifting theme comes at a very special moment in the game... You know what I mean: after some very bleak development in a very bleak game, Serph is back and immediately starts to kick ass! (With an assist to be honest)
@@PebblepantsTV the name of heroic and epic battle got swapped in the international release. Do your fucking research bud before saying people haven't played the game.
Gotta love that trashcan snare. No kidding, I legitimately love that sound! How the hell do you replicate that? Does anyone know what kind of drum that is?
It’s basically a regular snare with high tuning that’s had some snare wires removed. Less snare wires = more tone from the drum. I’m a drummer, and I love Shoji Meguro’s music, so those are my credentials 😂
You can tell that he uses a lot of the same percussion and guitar work. In particular, the lead into Madness on this very soundtrack is a specific thing he does a LOT.
Have anyone else noticed that this song could be the result of Shadow Of The Labyrinth (aka Shadow Labrys Theme), The Battle For Everyone’s Souls and The Fog having a child?
nah not at all. it's its own thing different to every single track in megami tensei as shoji did different things and it payed off massively, despite alienating the other tracks
@@bojanglesfaniv9711 Mf really listed off 2 shit tracks and 1 good track in neo persona like bruh, the battle for everyone's souls was good because it was different from persona 3's ost it was building up any other circumstance and it just wouldnt have been that good

Not entirely, but the spirit is there. At least now this a proper match unlike the first game's trading blows.

Ask Lars Ulrich where he gets his.
