@@eliseogrady1940 l put my deposit down before l'd even seen one, but l'd already got a Defender 90" so l knew what it would be like, if you are used to driving a fairly modern car you will find the steering quite vague in comparison, mine is a manual version and the gearchange is not bad, the pedals are quite softly sprung, if you drive in thick soled boots like l do you can't really feel them, going round bends quickly will see the Jimny lean more than a car because the suspension is quite soft, l find the Jimny a nice vehicle to drive around town and on the highway but l'm not a fast driver, l would recommend anyone considering buying a new Jimny to have a test drive if possible because they do feel different, good luck if get one, took 13 months before mine was delivered!!!!!!

What is the specs of front and rear axles? What brand? Gear ratio? Locker? Normally offroad vehicles includes these things in overall specs (e.g. jeep wrangler, defender). This is very important specs of offroad vehicles.
Most of the interior of jimny is hard plastic for easy cleaning of mud because it's an off road vehicle. This is the problem if a city dweller reviewed an off road vehicle. Almost no idea, aside for the fact that it's easy to park and drive thru narrow streets.
I simply love the car, it's been one year with it, and for Panama City, Panama it's perfect! I'm single and it's what I need for everything, outdoors, and daily driving in the city!
How is fuel consumption? Is it efficient compared to innova Diesel? How much do you spend for gasoline? I spend 400pesos back and forth manila to Cabuyao laguna.
Suzuki isn't available in North America anymore and that's a shame! I'd purchase a new one in a heartbeat for my personal vehicle, as I live in northern Ontario Canada the Jimny would fit into my outdoors oriented lifestyle, horrible roads and of course the long cold and snowy winters...btw, I liked you video, Thanks!

I am sorry to say this but I don't agree with this review. I absolutely adore the Jimny, and I'm currently waiting for one, but it's not for the reasons this guy says. If you want a comfortable compact car there are MANY options at the same price with much better performance, handling, safety and luxury. So DON'T listen to this guy. This car, while very cute, is a working car, a jeep (the concept not brand). You don't buy a car with solid axles and a ladder frame for going grocery shopping in the city. You don't need a low transfer case and a real 4X4 system for driving in the hills of a city. This car is for working, offroading, and being a complete badass at it. Unless you are in love with the looks, it's very difficult to justify buying it if it's never going to be taken offroad, and I'm talking hard offroad, not going to the countryside once in a while through dirt roads. So please, take this into consideration. It's an expensive choice if you are only going to use it as a daily. Also, it's very scarce in the world, and you are making us offroaders wait in line just because of people getting into the hype.
You are driving a hardcore off road vehicle and your expectations are leather seats, window buttons on doors. You definitely made a wrong choice. It is also obvious because you are driving an automatic transmission.
Next time you do a car review, make sure to actually VIEW those things you're referring to. Like how you're talking about the dashboard but the camera was just in one place and not focusing the dashboard itself. Consider that lame.
Reviews like that ruin the auto market. "I wish it would have that, I wish it would do that"... for what?! To pay 35000 USD instead if 18000 USD for a base model? Whatever you wish it can be achieved at your own expense - just leave the Jimny as is: rugged, simple, reliable. I find even line departure control it is a far fetched feature, since the car is not made to be driven primarily on highway.
The interior wasnt bad, but we wished it was a little nicer. Its like someone giving us an iPhone 11, we'd be truly happy with it but an iPhone 11 Pro Max would have been nicer to have.
Why expect something nicer? Its a utility car, not for someone like you who like iphones! It wasnt meant for car guys who keep their cars clean and shiny (like you i'm guessing). Its a workhorse!
