Vito winning it all this year I’m calling it
nice call !
You were right
I’m a Vito fan for sure… He’s just fun to watch wrestle, especially freestyle, but he’s showing that his wrestling skills are well rounded and translate very well to folkstyle, as he’s definitely one of the best at 133… And I have to say, 133 is absolutely stacked imo! I think Vito matches up well against RBY because he’s long, super savvy, and really good in scrambles/transitions, plus he’s really good on top too. Can’t wait to see how it all plays out!!
Dominant performance from Vito. Seems like he is wrestling much better at 133 than at 125
Vito is definetly the darkhorse at 133.
Vito is a tough cookie! Could be an Olympian.
This will probably be the 3rd and 4th place match at ncaas
Lukas Byrd would maul these bozos
@@AWCTB Lucas Byrd can’t even beat micky philippi
@@aldrob108 saying he’s as good as bravo young show’s Hilarious levels of either delusion or bias.
@@aldrob108 he’s as good as them sure but it’s going to be very hard to dethrone the defending 2x national champion at the best program in the world
@@AWCTB I have to disagree with that comment. I think Vito matches up well against RBY and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Vito beat him. Either way, he’s in the same “class” as RBY or damn close! I’m not sure why you would think that’s “hilarious”, “delusion”, or “bias” as you mention in your comment above. I mean, he finished 2nd in the Olympic Trials and has what, a 3rd place finish in NCAA’s and a 4th place finish (the year RBY placed 8th). Don’t get me wrong, RBY is a complete stud and I love watching him wrestle and have so much respect for Penn States wrestlers & program as a whole… I consider myself a fan for sure especially considering I’m from central PA myself. But with that said, Vito has serious skills too and he’s a crafty wrestler who I think matches up well with RBY… Either way, it’ll be fun and I can’t wait!
Wish the best for him hopefully he can beat the top guys at 133 such a great guy in person is Vito
McGee still da goat knee drop go crazy
Vito vs fix is going to be a good one to see who faces RBY
Vito always been a solid wrestler just a funky one ☝️
I’m glad Vito decided to not make that cut and join the sharks at 133. Wish Spencer would’ve done it
NOT spencer. Hes going to the 4th title and hes going to wretsle 57KG right after. Might as well stay at the weight
Mcgee is so fast its crazy
What a damn beast
At 133 RBY is gonna have his work cut out for him.
vito is maybe his only threat, but rby still wins
@@LakeNonaFan up until watching this match I would have agreed without hesitation, and I'm a rabid PSU fan. But Vito's style looks very problematic for RBY's style. He's slippery, quick and he has long reach like RBY. Both are very lanky, good leverage. Either way, I think it's gonna be a barn burner.
@@kenneth1755 yeah if there’s a person who can beat him it’s vito
@@kenneth1755 I’m excited for that match up for both of their styles, im intrigued to see how Vito matches up against daton
@@justincarroll1288 I'm inclined to agree, you can't look past Daton, ever. The matchup for RBY/Daton, at least to me, is the same as Vito/Daton. Daton's advantage is also his disadvantage. He's very strong, a power build, which is an advantage below the top ten at his weight. But the elite top ten trade muscle for finesse. I've been watching wrestling for decades and I started noticing that pattern. Tomasello is a prime example, never had more than maybe one loss during the season, but always a bridesmaid in the end. Marinelli is another example. He always might win until the elites. Power wrestlers are lethal, in the first five minutes and still dangerous after that. But feeding all that muscle with oxygen becomes their liability, their downfall. I'll be surprised if those three don't end up one two three in March. But never say never right?!
alot of wrestlers do that "arm thing" yianni zain bo etc. i think its a mindfuck that makes the other guy either grab a wrist or shoot into a downblock
Wow
there’s just no way vito takes out rby at ncaa
He could very well do it!
Wow! The seats are mostly empty. Why have this great event in a city that doesn't support NCAA wrestling?
So we're in 2023? Cool I guessed I must've missed that
I've been and watched guys like McGee. Focus too much on showmanship that strategy. If he would have a plan, then let him showmanship be a last resort, not his go to. He gets caught a lot. Just my thoughts.
Everyone fawning over a guy who couldn't cut it at 125. He is 3rd best at 133.
He’s pretty damned good. For “only” 3rd best LOL.. I’m impressed. I was there and he didn’t seem to have trouble with anyone. At Cliff Keen, that’s something to notice.
couldnt cut? hes proven he can, just didnt need to. he has a shot to win the title at 33s this year. hes beaten fix before.
Nah Vito is good he gives rby problems
Gay
youre weird man
