I'm not sure if this is your problem or not, but do you have a bass booster on your computer? At first, the audio was very bad for me as well, but when I turned off the base boosting option in my sound settings, the talk was actually very clear.

@@Fearnbuster Good suggestion! I switched from the amazing speakers on my MacBook Pro M1 16", with its surprisingly good bass, to the lame cheap speakers built into my external monitor, over DisplayPort. The man’s speech then became intelligible.
