- Anastasia was a hot favourite for the All Together Now Final. The song she chose for her shot at the £50,000 prize was an absolute classic - With Or Without You by U2. But will The 100 be with her or against her?

By choosing the songs for the performers, it's much easier for the producers to guide the show exactly how they want to go. This happens in many reality shows, if she had gotten a different song she may have gone on to win. With reality tv it's often less about talent, and more about story (not saying the winner didn't deserve it)

The truth is,this song is not suited to be in competition.
She only got less than 2 minute, must pickup high tempo and powerful song to tackle the judges

I don’t think that song choice was the best match with her gorgeous voice. I wonder why since she was out of musical theater she didn’t take something like from Phantom or Les Mis, something like.
We didn't get to pick our songs in the competition. I would have liked to sing Came Here for Love, Dont Forget me or Love You I Do. Please you liked my voice. Thanks for the support.
Anastasia Quinton-Smith wow that's such a shame you don't get to pick the songs. Do you get a choice of a few or no choice at all? I think you could have won if you'd had different songs that you were able to pick yourself. It's clear it was just that this song didn't work for you and your talent still comes across. Hope you get some new opportunities from the exposure.
I put forward about 6 songs and each were rejected for various reasons so then they guide you into what they think is right. It is all done with best intentions but also it is frustrating for us singers.

Not being from Britain, I have no idea who most of these "judges" are or who they think they are. I like to watch the singers but could not care less about the judges especially that "Paulus" - what the hell is that!?! Angry old queen with too much eyeliner? Sorry, that might be a bit harsh but he really seems to be a miserable bastard.

The first half was beautiful, but that last high note killed it for me.
I don't understand much about music, but from what little I know, even though you didn't choose the song and didn't feel very comfortable with it, your performance was remarkable! And in my opinion you were unfair! Even if it wasn't "the best performance of this song", you should have raised more judges. In the version of this program here in Brazil, you would definitely have raised more judges (a salve here from Brazil and sorry for my English because it is horrible 😅🇧🇷)
In a reply below, Anastasia has said she and others did not choose their songs. Geri's comment about 'connection' really pisses me off because of that. If she didnt get to sing a song of her choice, not even in her genre, the how can she be expected to connect with it?!?! You were robbed anastasia, truly a shame to see this, setting a remarkably talented performer up for failure. An absolute disgrace.
She was my favorite , she def beat Shellyann in my opinion! Her first performance was remarkable and one of my favorite performances ever! She belongs on the voice.

Yeah not my best performance. I was very nervous and didn't like the song. Only had two days to learn it and try and make it 'my own'. Was a good experience though.
@@anastasiaquinton-smith65 thats the sign of a good artist: own the experience, learn from it and move on. you have a great voice and a great personality but just my thoughts: some songs you won't like or feel but try to link the lyrics with any experience and you will be able to make US feel it through your voice. Just keep getting exposure and im sure you will expand beyond musical theatre :)

Sucks she didn’t get picked. Tho she did belt out the song a bit much, it was like she was screaming it and not actually singing it. I think on her first performance she thought they liked high notes so she tried to put it in this one....wasn’t the best choice but was still beautiful
