MY FIGHT MATTERS - NORTH HIGH SCHOOL

TapouT, the official lifestyle apparel partner of the UFC, and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kevin Harvick teamed up earlier this month and donated new uniforms to the North High School wrestling team in Bakersfield, California. In addition to hooking up the wrestling program, TapouT and Harvick also awarded four student scholarships totaling $11,000 to North seniors who participated in an essay contest focusing on overcoming adversity in life.

As a 2009 graduate of North high school, i have been researching north high to keep up on the latest news thats come to my beloved high school. I have moved across the country however so i cant just walk in and visit my old teachers who i miss dearly and would love to thank them for all that they have done for me. This video warmed my heart due to the simple fact that North high school has come such a long way. i remember when i was in high school and the gang violence and possy issues arose with vengence. Its amazing to see that tapout was started and that north high is finally the high school that it should be. less violent and filled with more learning and fun memories of your last years in school. congrats to those who got scholorships, Use them well.

Yes! Very good to see TapouT in the giving-back mode. Also awesome to see so many kids coming into school that day in TapouT wear. Respectability is just around the corner for the sport we love, thanks at least in part to efforts like this.

Attn: tap out rep. North high keeps the gear not the kids that were shown in the video receiving the gear. They aren't even allowed to take the gear home. They wear the gear to wrestling meets only. Not for personal use. And from what it sounds like is that the students will have to return the gear (hat shirts sweat pants hooded sweater gym bag gym shoes)at the end of wrestling the season as if "the gear" will be used as gear (old used gear) for the students next year

Im not a fan of their clothes, but for the work theyve put in to stuff like this, they'll always have my respect. And you come off like a douche for judging what other people wear.

Watching this video... I see how you provided gear for all the kids on the wrestling team. It's just sad how the kids were given hope and gear. But have to return it in the end. Don't state and show you given the kids something they can't keep. But have to turn in to be reused. Just awful!!
