You're right, the original Nerf "Elite" series blasters were way better in terms of design and quality of materials used than the current "Elite 2.0" series.
Getting an airsoft in Malaysia is not difficult. Trust me! EMG, VFC, GHK, WE, KWK, Golden Dragon, CYMA... Painting a nerf in Malaysia is not necessary. Even Gel blaster replica are flooded inside Malaysia.

I am guessing since the spring is upgraded, Nathan put locking pieces in the stock to keep it from collapsing when priming

Honestly the longshot probably has the most potential out all nerf brand springer blaster. I got mine to hit around 220 fps. Such a powerhouse.
