There's no Runes atm only pre-runes.
RUNE and L-2 solutions both have great potential, but they're not without challenges. RUNE needs to become more user-friendly to achieve widespread adoption, similar to established L-2 systems like Lightning Network, Arbitrum, and Polygon, which already have solid user bases and developed ecosystems. Additionally, BVM and SAVM are on the starting blocks. RUNE must also integrate specific use cases like gaming or DeFi to dominate and truly compete. I'm optimistically on the lookout.

Cheers Chris. Just minted my first BTC ordinal last night, EverydaySatoshis by Alfie. 5k Collection minted out, now on ME. Each one has everyday of BTC price history etched into each pixel and the art is epic. Loved the minting experience too, very clean. Just need a tonne more BTC to buy everything else I want now lol.

Tools to buy will be released in the first few days/weeks unless you are tech savvy you can run a bitcoin node/ord client mint/"buy" yourself the day of halving.

There's some cheap pre-runes out there but if you want less complex just wait a few weeks for the dust to settle and buy the dips on the ones you want.
