I cant tell you how much I appreciate real close ups and a camera that doesn't blur your skin. It's so frustrating watching these influencers that test products and then don't show what they actually look like without bright lights and camera effects.
For blemishes, especially open ones, I always dab concealer on the back of my hand and then use a brush or my finger to apply. I worry about contaminating the tube with bacteria and spreading it around my face. Maybe that would help?
I might be over stepping. I know you are getting the curology steps for your skin. Your skin really reminds me of mine last year. I went and got my hormone levels checked last october and also because I was thinning on my head hair wise. I was put on spironolactone to balance out my excess of hormones both male and female and my skin after 8 months is now clear. I am not telling you to go on that medication. But maybe before you try a topical acne routine, try checking what your hormones are doing and maybe that will give you an insight into whats happening acne wise. I really hope I am not coming across as a know it all or mean. Really enjoy your channel.
no worries, a lot of people have suggested this but I've been to the doctor multiple times over these past few years in regards to my hair, skin, etc. and have had my levels checked... I'm perfectly normal, both fortunately and unfortunately lol I say that because at least if they came back abnormal I'd have a clearer picture of the culprit! But like said, I'm unsure what the causes of these issues are for me at the moment. Glad you found something that worked for you though! :)
Thrift Thick all of my labs were normal and they put my on spironolactone. The determining factor for me was the location of my acne (around my jaw, sometimes neck) and that it worsened before my period. it has helped so much!
You skin seems so dehydrated 😭😭your pimples seem to be from the dehydration. You can have oily skin and still be dry but it’s always good to moisturize a lot and to drink a lot of water. I wouldn’t do anything drying to your skin let alone wear matte foundation.
I know unsolicited advice can be annoying, but have you ever considered spironolactone for acne? I bring it up because it was my absolute miracle acne medication after seeing a dermatologist for over 10 years and trying everything but accutane. It totally changed my skin and my self esteem. You’d definitely want to talk to your dermatologist about it because it’s not for everyone, and it’s not an overnight fix (it took 3-4 months to work for me), but it literally changed my life. Sorry if you have heard people recommend this a million times already!
Cassie! When you try out the combo products like this, you should include a day or two where you use your regular products in conjunction with the new ones. ie- use your favorite concealer with the new foundation/use the new concealer with your favorite foundation to see which one works best. Love your videos ♥️♥️
Any other esthetician’s a fan of Cassie’s channel? I’ve been dealing with skin concerns for 20+ years and I see what’s going on with your skin and it breaks my heart every single video to see the state it and you are in. There is NO miracle product you’re going to get to fix this. It’s from within where you need to start. I pray you start being honest with your skin troubles, the scarring breaks my heart for you.
Not blended well at all actually. I spend way longer blending my fdn and my skin is normal. With her problematic skin, she really should spend more time and care blending everything out to get a smoother finish.
With no hate intended of course..but have you started picking at your skin again because they look pretty agitated and brightly colored...and painful. I haven’t tried cureology myself but I hope you review it because it seems interesting
Idk if you've tried, but ever since I've started using Dickinson's witch hazel mixed with aloe vera gel for my acne, my skin has been almost flawless. They're also inexpensive. It's worth a try if you haven't already!
Hey :) suggestion possibly. It is unnecessary and not needed, but something i do when I wear a full face (foundations) is I actually shave my face. Theres a few different ways you can, and different tools you can use... But i find Foundation looks nicer with my hairs gone :) and my skin seems really smooth and nice. You might have known about that, but after watching a lot of your videos i thought i might share a tip :). I hope I'm not coming off like, rude or anything. I love you and your videos girl :)
For your skin issues, I forget if you've mentioned before; have you gotten your hormones checked out (by an endocrinologist)? You do have some things that can be symptoms of polycystic ovarian syndrome. I do too, plus my mother had it, so I'll get that checked out soon. Otherwise, I suggest that stress could be a factor to take more seriously. I have PTSD, so I have a lot of experience with stress and how it can affect absolutely EVERYTHING, especially skin and hair quality. I suggest searching "relaxation techniques" and trying to do one every day. It really makes a difference. Try lots of different techniques to find what you like best. Obviously you want to try to reduce stressful situations where you can, but sometimes you can't, so I definitely, strongly suggest giving your body some stress reduction with those techniques wherever you can fit them in. (The bot app Wysa has some ok ones, and can remind you. There are other similar apps too, but Wysa is a cute penguin.) As for the foundation, I'm surprised that it didn't bring out the texture on blemishes more. It just had the look of a foundation that would. Not sure what I think about it. I'd probably try them, but I'm reluctant to at that price with the strange formulation/skin tone choices. Thanks for testing these out! Take care!
I adore you Cassie, BUT, this was a big NO, not for the price. Uoma, 1. the crease, 2. tooooo heavy, as in, it looked too much like, "wow, she's wearing a lot of makeup." now, drug store price, heck ya!, but $39... NOooooooooo. Just fyi, I am one to spend too much money on quality products, BUT, that's my money!!! and I expect an even transfer of money to product. I would be one to return that just because it's not a $40 foundation, and not a $25 concealer. You save me a lot of money because of your wonderful channel. I Appreciate you, I adore you. Love from Nashville
that's okay, you're allowed to feel that way!! I personally liked the way that it looked on my skin enough to justify the price but it's completely okay for you to feel otherwise. Just goes to show that not everything is perceived the same by everyone :)
A lot of people have very good things to say about this foundation. Nadi (pop luxe) says this is his new go to, and Samantha Ravndahl said this may be her go to on her wedding day
I'm dark skinned on the border of deep dark and I have super oily skin. I love this foundation! It has become my go to. I live on a subtropical island that is hot and humid. My formula can last 8 hours or a little longer without lifting up and sliding off like other foundations I've tried. It does transfer like crazy after my oils come through. I use Can't Stop Wont Stop and elf putty matte formula as my primers (CSWS in the center of my face and elf putty on the perimeter).
This new camera is FANTASTIC Cassie!! It’s literally like being face to face! Hope everything is good on your end of the country! Love from Cleveland 💗💗
Great video Cassie, this reminds me of the "old you", confident in your makeup application and your viewing audience. Sometimes recently, I feel like you can be unsure of yourself....this is why I say I feel like this video reminds me of the old you. Very comfortable and confident!! We all love you so so so much, keep up the great work 💓
Just curious if you powder your face after applying foundation? Not sure if that would minimize the transferring. Also, how long have you been using the Guerlain primer? I think it breaks me out :-(
Caassiieee!!! I seriously love your videos!! Wearing it for a couple days are always super helpful and I’ve loved your amazing personality since I first subscribed 😭❤️ Keep doing you gurl ❤️❤️❤️
My gosh, all of the armchair dermatologists in the comments. Her skin is her business and she doesn't need to preface every video with an apology or explanation of her skin history. Keep it to yourselves and work on the empathy and kindness you're putting into the world.
Are you going to try the new makeup forever powder foundation? I saw Casie Holmes review it and she has rosacea and very oily skin and she loved it! Always love your videos Cassie
someone else asked me to review it on this video already so I guess it's definitely something I need to look into lol! I haven't heard of it but I'll go look on Sephora now... :)
I did curology for a hot minute, it did work at first and then after a while it lost its effect.. I notice that with a lot of stuff I’ve tried though, I hope it works for you 💕💕 much love Cassie
Late response but I just started using it a month and a half ago. It seemed to have been working almost instantly then the last couple weeks it seems to be doing nothing
Hi Cassie! Did you ever try going to a dermatologist and let them recommend a solid skincare routine just for you? I have a couple of friends who have and their skin looks amazing now
@@alyssaalbanese9919 really? 😕 I was just making a suggestion since Cassie always mentions that she's trying several ways to get rid of her acne, you know, trying to be helpful. Try your best not to be offended on someone else's behalf next time, it will save you the headache
@@alyssaalbanese9919 so in the bubble you live in, it's rude to give someone a perfectly polite suggestion? I was literally asking because I didn't know whether she had gone and it didn't work out for her or something. Okay then...maybe you should follow your own advice and mind your own business too since, I wasn't even talking to you?
@@alyssaalbanese9919 Oh so now you're doubting my intentions too? 😂 are we in a relationship or something? Look I'm sorry for being rude, but I really don't care what you think . Have a good day
I think people often say they don't like the foundation you're wearing because they're so used to other youtubers using really deceptive lighting. Full coverage foundation is always going to have some level of cake. I appreciate that you always show your makeup looks in different types of lighting.
Thanks for the review well tested throughout the day and great commentary. Your makeup looks amazing in spite of your skin challenges so well done on your techniques as well as the use of these products which I ❤ a little definitely goes a long way so good value for money.
CASSIE! not that you didn't already, but you just plain looked ~healthy~ to me! both in the natural light and under your studio light, to me you just looked glowy. sorry if you've already talked about this and i just don't remember, but what's your experience with baking? i have some serious oily spots around my nose and t-zone (i can 100% relate to the wiping off foundation experience) and i've started using coty airspun powder on my sponge and really patting it in around my oily spots, like not just loosely then swiping it off, but really working it in then getting rid of the excess later. for me it delays the inevitable slip-and-slide of foundation at the end of the day lol - maybe it could help you too (again sorry if you've already tried that and i don't remember!) but either way, you were killing it in this video, you were a glowing goddess and idc what anyone else thinks, have a great night/day/morning!
Hey, have you tried the Sunday Riley Saturn mask? I was able to stop using Retin A since I started using it a couple months ago. I have rosacea and breakouts and sensitive skin, and it's the only thing that has cleared up my skin.
Awh it's so nice to see everyone being nice, reasonable and positive in the comments! Waita go everyone! Also, I do get the idea behind the separate formulas, but it was based on a majority so it isn't going to work for everyone. Even a sample that shows a Gaussian (normal) distribution, will still have 32% of that sample outside of 1 standard deviation from mean, so it was kind of to be expected; but to be honest, considering it wasn't for your skin type, it didn't look too bad at all! Especially on the first day, sans primer, which was completely unexpected! x
I notice when my skin is dry I break out more. When I keep my face plump and moisturized I have less breakouts and redness. I have been using Tatcha cleansing oil, then their rice powder, then I use the serum and then I use a water based gel moisturizer and my skin has been amazing. I noticed if I used too harsh of products my skin just never got better!
Yes please update us on your date Cassie. We got ready with you now we neeeed to know how it went. 🙂 I love how beautiful your skin looked in this foundation. It really disappeared “ blemishes
hi Cassie! have you thought of looking into any changes you made in your diet lately? I've personally noticed I have certain foods that break me out if I eat them too often, so maybe something you are eating is making your skin freak out. Many hugs from Romania ^_^
yeah, I'm looking into that too!! Trying to figure it out... I think I might be eating a little more cheese that usual lately? Not sure but I know dairy can be a huge cause of breakouts so I'm going to try and cut back to see if it helps :)
I really think these tests would go better for you if you'd blend the concealer in instead of lightly patting it (I could see caking immediately) and if you used less foundation. I get that these weren't made for your skin type but this is a pattern and it's not working in your favor. I do my concealer before foundation as well, but I blend it with a sponge so that it can't be detected and I use two pumps of foundation for my whole face so I never get caking issues. Just food for thought. Also, it's REALLY not a good idea to use the concealer wand on blemishes like that. You basically just created a cesspool for bacteria and personally I'd throw that concealer away now if I were you.
Wow you just saved me a lot of money even though it's on sale for practically nothing right now I'm still not going to buy it I don't even know that I want the concealer at this point I might just get two up 6 to play with. Your eyes are absolutely gorgeous. I'm quite a bit older than you and I still have pimples on occasion they're annoying I just spot clay mask overnight for one or two nights and they seem to go away after that. Good luck thank you again so much
Uoma recently released a drugstore version of this foundation called Uoma Beauty by Sharon C that looks really interesting. I've only seen it at Walmart. Would be interested in your thoughts on that one. Love your foundation reviews.
I’m loving more companies are doing a wider skin color range. Im also with you on the nose being a problem. Between wiping it and breathing, it’s always a toss up of whether it’ll be nice looking or not. Best of luck on the skin! I am going through a breakout time (changed birth control) and started doing witch hazel twice a day to remove oil/excess makeup. I also use Tea Tree oil on a q-tip for spot treatments at night. It makes the blemishes smaller by morning.
hi! just wondering. have you tried to go gluten free for your skin? i'm getting hormonal acne now that i'm off the pill and wondering if cutting out the inflammatory stuff in gluten would help. just wondering :)
First thing I notice (only about 2 minutes in), is in the Honey Honey description, it says "(pink skin)" "formulated for olive skin." Olive skin is definitely not pink; it's actually a little green and fairly neutral (mine's a little warmer than neutral). On the others, in the parentheses is the cap colour, so I'm wondering if this is a mistake? Still not sure why anyone would associate pink with olive either way. I'd give it an olive green cap. I don't like the idea of formulations based on skin tones. Any skin tone can have any skin type or concern (although I'm sure there are trends). It's not fair if someone has a particular skin concern, but can only get that formulation in the wrong colour, or if their colour's formulation doesn't suit their skin type. They should offer all colours in all formulations. If they think there will be less or more for certain ones, they should produce more or less of those combinations accordingly.
May I ask why you do your concealer first..? As a fellow chick with "problematic skin" ;), I've found putting concealer on first takes away all the coverage once I put foundation on. So I do them in reverse, to add coverage where I still need it. :) Toooootally to each their own, I'm curious what motivated you to do yours that way, as a fellow person with a lot to cover. :) Cheers, & thanks for the always great review! 💙
Yl'luria i also find i use less product when i conceal after. i’m always surprised at how much redness a thin layer of foundation takes away. then i use less concealer ocerall
Maybe try giving your skin a break from silicones. Covering up breakouts with liquid foundations and concealers won't fix the problem, it will make it worse. Instead of moisturizers try pure rosehip oil, instead of liquid foundations try powder foundation with good ingredients like Burt's Bees or IT cosmetics, remember to wash your makeup brushes often, gently exfoliate twice a week, and your skin should improve dramatically. You have nothing to lose and maybe it's time to try something different :)
I know this is probably pretty obvious, but, do you think frequently changing makeup could be aggravating your skin? Forgive me if you've been asked this a blue million times already. Also, does powder help with the oiliness or does it just make paste?
I'm loving your video quality and Setup Cassie!! You're going to go far, it's nice to see someone admitting they need to change things up, asking for feedback and implementing it. LOVE ur reviews because you're so real, relatable, you dont use crazy lighting or filters. Keep it up!!😊
Hi Cassie! I just discovered you and subscribed after binging over a dozen of your videos over the past two days. I just wanted to thank you for being a realistic face for makeup/beauty on UA-cam. I wish I had found you a long time ago. I think we get lost in thinking we have to have perfectly smooth and flawless skin in order to feel beautiful and I’m so thankful there are people like you reminding us that beauty is in the flaws too. I hope you don’t read this as being rude or anything. I think you’re so cute and it’s just so nice to watch a tutorial with someone who has pimples rather than another guru with Facetune perfect skin. Wow, I sure can talk lol. Anyways, I just wanted to thank you sincerely and say you have a new fan/subscriber! I hope you are doing well.
thank you so much for leaving me a comment Brianne, and such a nice one at that!! I'm so glad to hear that you've been enjoying my videos and also that you find my skin relatable in the sense that it makes you (and others) remember that NOBODY'S skin is perfect, not even the people's on UA-cam who appear to have perfect skin (a lot of that has to do with lighting and filters). I hope you're doing well as well and have a fabulous weekend ahead of you
I get the thought process but they should give you the option with each shade range, with each thing you need. Like you need a fair shade but for oily you should be able to choose it. And vise versa for all. I have dry and I'm fair light.. so it may work for me.. But it's not going to for everyone.
How did you know there was a fragrance in it just by smelling it? Did you read the bottle or just going by sent? Some products like the lingonberry and ginger will give a sent.
I think this foundation looks beautiful on you! At least on camera... It's probably my favourite I have seen you try. Considering the fact that you are having skin issues currently (SAME), your skin looks smooth and pretty. I had very minimal interest in this foundation until this video.
Cassie! Have you tried enough or have you ever considered doing a video dedicated to blotting sheets? I keep meaning to buy some, and by meaning to buy some (it’s been years, lol), but I don’t know which ones to get. I’ve tried the neutrogena ones (blue) which are okay, but I’ve wanted to try others. I was wondering if u notice a difference in how much foundation they pick up or for instance, I know the Fenty ones are a pain to some, because they curve. Anywho, just a thought :)
I’m oily and NO primer works for me. They all make my makeup greasy later on and they all break me out. Once I finally gave up on primers, my skin completely cleared up and my makeup actually lasts longer. I think it may be the same situation for you.
Andrea Gunn I’m super oily. What works for me (even though it sounds weird) is to use grape seed oil before my primer or to use an oil primer. Other steps that have helped are setting my concealer with powder before putting on foundation. Using setting powder again after my finishing powder and of course, using a setting spray. The best setting powders I’ve found are the RCMA no color powder and the Mehron Color Set.
Hi, Cassie! :) can you, please, review the juvia's place foundation? it's supposed to be full coverage, but all the reviews are from people with absolutely nothing to cover.. I have a skin simillar to yours and am very curious p.s.: watching your videous for years ♥
For a foundation that is geared toward normal/dry skin, it looks quite good, even when your oils come through. It's sad that it transfers so easily but otherwise I really liked it on you. And I'm agreeing that your new camera is awesome. Your mom creeping on you in the car is funny.
My skin looked like yours in my 20’s. I worked for Clarins Cosmetics in my late 20’s. I’m now 45... but Clarins skincare cleared my skin completely. I don’t use it anymore but my skin has stayed clear with drugstore skincare. I can’t afford Clarins now!!! 😁
Every time I see you apply makeup wearing a sweatshirt type top I freak out. Make me worry about getting some on it. I always put mine on in a tank top. I always smudge some on me. LOL You are makeup not getting dirty goals.
You should wear a headband when doing your make up to keep your hair back and use a beauty blender to apply the conselor I find it comes out better that way. I do my conselor first too 👌 with a sponge then just powder foundation i find it looks best that way. Looks good tho lovn this look 🙌
Thanks for the review. By chance, do you think that maybe your skin is reacting to certain foods & not necessarily cosmetics or skincare? Just a thought, cause I get really bad skin reactions from gluten, sugar & dairy.
I’ve found silicone primers do not mesh well with my oily skin. They don’t break me out or anything (acne prone here) but they make my foundation slick right off my face after 4-6+ hours! All my regular foundations work best without primer! All I do is moisturize my face. I feel like silicone primers do a really good job of creating a barrier on the skin that the foundation sits on top off. But then when my oils come through, it “pushes” that barrier and the foundation off of my skin and causes transfer. If that makes sense. Vs when I don’t wear primer, my foundation doesn’t slick off and transfer. Even though I get oily
That’s a nice color on you Cassie 😊 this foundation is questionable... but the color was like perfectttttt for you. I hate when that happens! Lol. Also one thing I’ve always noticed and appreciated is how HD and *true* your zoom ins are after your foundation application. Every makeup guru makes it looks as though makeup is meant to look so airbrushed and flawless and that’s just simply not the real case!!
Skin can be oily and dehydrated at the same time..
Catherine Savino Mine is 😩
I actually think Cassie's skin is dehydrated. I think her skin is trying to compensate for all the acne medication and acids she uses.
Couldn’t agree more. My oily skin literally disappeared when I started using oils on my skin to hydrate.
This is so mine

Yes, I think it’s best avoid putting concealer wands directly on the skin. However, concealer should not be put on open wounds at all.

I thought this looked cakey on the first application
Miguel Avila I agree. Wonder if it could be her application process
Michaela Weaver She has dermotillomania
Abigail Andrews exactly...I’m aware...that’s why I asked if she had started picking again....
Hi Cassie, have you ever watch ‘Dr Dray” she is a Dermatologist on you tube, she has certainly changed my skin for the better, Take Care. 😊❤️💋
I love you and your videos girl :)
can you please test the new juvia’s foundation & concealer too?
I know it's already selling out !
yes!! I ordered it recently and am just waiting on it to get to me... I'm hoping it'll get to me in time for next week's "Weekly Wear" video :)
Thrift Thick I just got mine!
There are other similar apps too, but Wysa is a cute penguin.)
As for the foundation, I'm surprised that it didn't bring out the texture on blemishes more. It just had the look of a foundation that would. Not sure what I think about it. I'd probably try them, but I'm reluctant to at that price with the strange formulation/skin tone choices.
Thanks for testing these out! Take care!
I love black owned beauty brands. The pigmentation is always AMAZING. ❤️
Nadi (pop luxe) says this is his new go to, and Samantha Ravndahl said this may be her go to on her wedding day
@@thriftthick ♡ your kinda awesome ♡
Another video idea: getting your makeup done by a makeup artist
Eeekk ! Your background is getting cuter and cuter !!!! 😍😍😍😍
Loving the lighting/camera set up at the beginning. Really a huge improvement!
Really like the weekly wear test approach! It seems like the most reasonable review 🐱
Your blue shirt during the wrap up is so beautiful! Looks elegant yet beachy
@@alyssaalbanese9919 Also, yes actually I know a couple of people and the thought didn't cross their minds until recently. Calm down
@@alyssaalbanese9919 Oh so now you're doubting my intentions too? 😂 are we in a relationship or something? Look I'm sorry for being rude, but I really don't care what you think . Have a good day
Do you powder your T zone after application of foundation?
I think people often say they don't like the foundation you're wearing because they're so used to other youtubers using really deceptive lighting. Full coverage foundation is always going to have some level of cake. I appreciate that you always show your makeup looks in different types of lighting.
Thanks for the review well tested throughout the day and great commentary. Your makeup looks amazing in spite of your skin challenges so well done on your techniques as well as the use of these products which I ❤ a little definitely goes a long way so good value for money.
Can you please try out the Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet Blurring Powder Foundation.... Please💜
Luna Claire I know I’m not Cassie, but I have it and I LOVE it for my oily skin!
I can check it out, yes!! :D
CASSIE! not that you didn't already, but you just plain looked ~healthy~ to me! both in the natural light and under your studio light, to me you just looked glowy. sorry if you've already talked about this and i just don't remember, but what's your experience with baking? i have some serious oily spots around my nose and t-zone (i can 100% relate to the wiping off foundation experience) and i've started using coty airspun powder on my sponge and really patting it in around my oily spots, like not just loosely then swiping it off, but really working it in then getting rid of the excess later. for me it delays the inevitable slip-and-slide of foundation at the end of the day lol - maybe it could help you too (again sorry if you've already tried that and i don't remember!) but either way, you were killing it in this video, you were a glowing goddess and idc what anyone else thinks, have a great night/day/morning!
I missed this video how lol three years ago I was watching you well now..caught up on few n in-between ones I had missed love ya Cassie
Hey, have you tried the Sunday Riley Saturn mask? I was able to stop using Retin A since I started using it a couple months ago. I have rosacea and breakouts and sensitive skin, and it's the only thing that has cleared up my skin.
This foundation and concealer look great on you!
Especially on the first day, sans primer, which was completely unexpected! x
I think that you should try blogging a bit, like maybe a weekly vlog to go along with weekly wear?
P.S. It really does blow that they did the formulas that way because I'm literally white as paper and my skin is oily.
The background looks great! I always enjoy watching your content, Cassie 😀👌
i don’t think i like the way this looks at all :/
thank you for doing an honest review!
you're welcome!! :)
I agree, Estee Lauder DW light soft matte all the way
Wow you just saved me a lot of money even though it's on sale for practically nothing right now I'm still not going to buy it I don't even know that I want the concealer at this point I might just get two up 6 to play with. Your eyes are absolutely gorgeous. I'm quite a bit older than you and I still have pimples on occasion they're annoying I just spot clay mask overnight for one or two nights and they seem to go away after that. Good luck thank you again so much
“Sharon you are allowed to do what you want!” Hahaha I laughed so hard at that! I have dry ass skin but still love to watch your channel!
“Sometimes shell creep on me from the window” HAHAHAHA gotta love our mommas 🤩
Uoma recently released a drugstore version of this foundation called Uoma Beauty by Sharon C that looks really interesting. I've only seen it at Walmart. Would be interested in your thoughts on that one. Love your foundation reviews.
What about accutane or tati’s kiwi vitamins? I’ve heard they both help acne. If you figure out something that works let us know!
yellow undertone does not work for your skin, neutral colours much more
i've loved curology, remember to give your medical provider feedback every few months. I couldn't have cleared my skin without it.
Did you try it again without a primer to see if it wore like the first day? It sounds like it just does not wear nice with primers
hi! just wondering. have you tried to go gluten free for your skin? i'm getting hormonal acne now that i'm off the pill and wondering if cutting out the inflammatory stuff in gluten would help. just wondering :)
Look into candida diet. It completely cleared my acne
@@lintroller8398 yup! Exactly. :) That way you don't have to reconceal what applying foundation brought back out. :)
How was your date? I hope that you had a good time!
I love your weekly wears!!
I know this is probably pretty obvious, but, do you think frequently changing makeup could be aggravating your skin? Forgive me if you've been asked this a blue million times already. Also, does powder help with the oiliness or does it just make paste?
is the matching concealer the same shade as the foundation or is it lighter?
hey cassie, have you seen any type of doctor for your skin?
I hope you're doing well as well and have a fabulous weekend ahead of you
I always thought your supposed to put concealer after foundation? Jw not saying you have to.
Will you be buying and testing the new Jaclyn hill lipsticks? I'd love to see a Review from you! 💕😊
I get the thought process but they should give you the option with each shade range, with each thing you need. Like you need a fair shade but for oily you should be able to choose it. And vise versa for all. I have dry and I'm fair light.. so it may work for me.. But it's not going to for everyone.
I think this foundation looks terrible. It looked super cakey from the start and super thick like paint. Definitely not the best I've seen you try.
Oh girl, I feel you! My skin has been breaking out horribly lately too... Hope curology does wonders for you! Fingers crossed
My skin is light and very oily, so this product probably isn't for me. I'm glad you tested it for us!
ShadaGreen thank you so much! I’ve heard great things about the RCMA powder. I might have to try it!💘
Andrea Gunn I love it and it’s only $12. I usually buy a few at a time so I never run out.
Hi, Cassie! :) can you, please, review the juvia's place foundation?
it's supposed to be full coverage, but all the reviews are from people with absolutely nothing to cover.. I have a skin simillar to yours and am very curious
p.s.: watching your videous for years ♥
For a foundation that is geared toward normal/dry skin, it looks quite good, even when your oils come through. It's sad that it transfers so easily but otherwise I really liked it on you. And I'm agreeing that your new camera is awesome. Your mom creeping on you in the car is funny.
Ooo.. your skin looks glowly with this foundation
Good review, have you checked out thatayla's videos when she was oily and had acne before Acutane? She found some foundations that worked
Thanks Cassie!!! I was wondering about this foundation and here you are with your reviews!! :-)
Cassie can you try a hydra facial and let us know your thoughts please
Every time I see you apply makeup wearing a sweatshirt type top I freak out. Make me worry about getting some on it. I always put mine on in a tank top. I always smudge some on me. LOL
You are makeup not getting dirty goals.
You should wear a headband when doing your make up to keep your hair back and use a beauty blender to apply the conselor I find it comes out better that way. I do my conselor first too 👌 with a sponge then just powder foundation i find it looks best that way. Looks good tho lovn this look 🙌
God Bless everyone and God loves everyone Amen❤️🙏🏽
Just loving your background Cassie...have two sets of those lights myself👍
Thanks for the review.
By chance, do you think that maybe your skin is reacting to certain foods & not necessarily cosmetics or skincare? Just a thought, cause I get really bad skin reactions from gluten, sugar & dairy.
Yes!!! Sugar creates acne on my face so fast!!
Cassie, have you asked a dermatologist about Retin-A?
Or next step, I know Thattaylaa used Accutane and her skin cleared right up
I’ve found silicone primers do not mesh well with my oily skin.
