I started Minecraft about 2 to 3 months ago and fell in love with it but Cortez builds have made this game just so much fun. Thank you and to your staff Cortez for all your hard work..
Every single time i get unmotivated you show up with a video and save the day. Now the biggest problem holding me back is making the layout of my village.
I believe I commented this on one of your shorts, but I wanted to thank you again for making your Japanese builds more culturally and historically accurate. A lot of other “Japanese” builds I’ve encountered on here are actually Chinese architecture, or a weird blend. And I want to try to avoid being accidentally insensitive. Besides you I only put my faith Japanese Minecrafters for Japanese style builds. This will be my base in my new seed. I spawned on an island in a cherry grove :). Again, thank you. Very clear explanation as well.
Hey, it’s been 8 months since you made this comment, so you probably won’t see this. I’m Chinese, and I think it’s okay if someone accidentally messes up. Your uhh… non East Asian culture might think it’s racism. It’s really just an occasional mistake. Even to me it’s a little hard to tell the difference. But yes, I do agree that this channel has the best accurate Japanese builds. Sorry for making you read all of this. Have a cookie 🍪
I don't speak English, but I love your constructions and I pay a lot of attention to the images to recreate them, thank you. (I hope you understand, I used a translator 😅
I wanted to build this but when I began and made that layout of 50x44 with the 35x21 with a 7 and 8 block gap, I realized: This was a CONTINUATION of the storage room which I didn't know was made in a separate video, and I was seeing an EXTENSION of the storage room be made instead. So I had to actually restart and now in the process of getting all the RIGHT materials to make the storage room instead as I gathered everything for the extension and not the actual first building. I'd recommend next to making it clear about which is the actual first video and which is a continuation because even with the storage video being linked in the description, it still doesn't tell anyone that that is where you should actually begin so they don't end up making an extension first instead of the actual first building. Good video, just very unclear instructions of where to actually start with the entire build itself.
Still working on build, fricken love this! thanks cortezerino! Your builds are really helping me get better at building! Building on modded MC, Steampunk modpack! create blocks really take this build to a whole new level!
Love the build man just completed it in my modpack world took me over 4 days to build but im happy at how it came out for my first build ever much love!
A messed up a couple times just with the counting ( that's on me ) so my build was just slightly off what you was showing me in certain areas, I've managed to make it look fairly ok but doing the pond was annoying just because I had to juggle between so many different blocks 😂 but it looks amazing thank you

2:43 this part makes no sense at all, do you count the corner? I counted them and it didn’t work, than I didn’t count them and it didn’t work. I counted only one and it worked but now the other is 9. Please help these numbers can’t be correct
You count the corners, so for the first rectangle the 50 block long wall includes the two blocks in the corners, and same for the 44 block long wall. So at 2:43 you have 7 blocks, then 35, then 8, and that adds up to 50.

Great builds but bad explanation i tried the 35x21 by 8 gap and 7 gap it was 37x21 so i removed some of block from 50x44 to make it 35x21 and after that i build the frame for the estate house but it was only 20x13 so i changed it to 21x13 but it was on the third block of the diorite and when you said to leave some space for the estate house the front has only 3 block spaces im struggling right now please help me
@@Cortezerino just looked it up it’s because I am on Bedrock and you are on Java. Java dark oak stripped log are lighter then Bedrock dark oak stripped log. Java dark oak looks more like Bedrock spruce stripped log. Which means I just need to swap dark oak for spruce logs when I build it. Thank you
when connecting the house not the storage building, if u said 20 block’s towards the storage building is it 21? I’m kinda confused abt when building the house. Like do I build next to the rectangle that is splitting the house and the storage? Idkkkk i’m losing my mind here 🤣
I've just run into this. I'm thinking it's not 7 and 8 blocks of free space between the inner and outer rectangles. When I start counting with 1 being the corner block of the outer rectangle, and 8 being the block before the start of the inner rectangle, it adds up right. I'd guess you both solved it, but if not, uhhhh there ya go!
Quit spam commenting. His tutorials show you how to build the whole thing but given it's a large build, it split between multiple videos. But you'd know that if you watched it and paid attention.
