Hey Paul. Thanx for the showcase. Could You please tell me Your setup ? I have a HEADRUSH connected to Macbook (with git plugins) with RME Babyface pro speaker but to play outside it needs portable power station. Do you think it would be a better option power-wise and sound-wise and does your bass wireless system and bluetooth have any interruptions , hisses ? Thanx Matthew
In this video all I'm using is the JBL partybox and SWIFF Audio wireless transmitter/receiver. If you want to go totally powerless, you could probably use your macbook and this speaker (I haven't tried that yet, but it should work). But if you need power for your pedalboard, then you might as well use whatever you usually use. I haven't noticed interruptions or hiss, but honestly I don't use this setup very often.
I highly doubt jbl will be harmed. They got famous selling competition speakers an the rap world has bass test cds that probably could blow low quality bass amps.
@AaronSilver1 I understand that, however as you may know bass amps are different than that meant for a regular guitar. They have very different frequency ranges. And if the jbl can't handle, you're looking at a busted speaker. Just because he plugged it in does not mean it's suitable.
@@gabemoore3189 You are right! But also, it's speakers are very suitable for bass guitar. They actually would feel less dynamic for the regular guitar. Would certainly not feel like using celestion v30's.
Dope!
I'm here for the bass guitar. 🤣

What about JBL partybox 110?
I don't have one, but, unless they really dropped the ball, I imagine they are pretty similar to the 100. and I love my 100

yeah, i wonder as well if this would kill the speaker after a while?
It's marketed to be used for this purpose, that being said, I have only used it for practice.

Is it okay to use it as a bass amp? Will it damage the speaker? Trying to find an answer
it is built for use with guitar and bass guitar.
My dude he’s using a bass in the video
