interested to see out his progresses... I found your vids since i have a R129 300Sl....so 600SL's are just double my car ....sorta :).....love my straight six vs the complexity here, great car but these V12's are a guilty interest ..likely would go for the v12 coupe sometime (commented on your CL600, love the roof line vs 140 coupes) we'll see..
Hey Bill!! I believe you're correct. The V12 is made by putting together the two V6's out of the SL300. I love the six cylinders. I have a 95 E320 cabriolet with basically that engine. Extremely smooth and rock solid. Thanks for following along :-)
@@cassidycarcave2781 Oil leak by the starter? I don't think I have heard of the M120's have the same head gasket issue that M104's have at rear of block the oil passage from the block into the head.....edit added....not probably not I see the M120 block is aluminum vs the M104 is iron which I think is main problem having aluminum head and expansion.
@@billrbca yeah and it's a massive leak. It's not the rear main seal because I took off the access plate and the flywheel is dry. I'm sure they'll be a video of me hopefully tracking it down :-)
@@diamonddee178 I moved locations after Covid and sold some of the cars. I’m in a new space now and will be making new content soon! I still have the Bentley, the convertible BMW and the Grand Wagoneer…and temporarily a Ferrari 360 Spyder gated manual..I sold the SL600 to my brother!!Thx!!!
After not driving my 94 SL600 for a couple years, the ride got rough and R Rear one has a leak. And very puzzling, my ASR and SRS dash lights are on :( Can't wait for the the solution. I'm hoping the spheres being changed will be the solution?
