But when it comes to- *”off-roading”* , the Raptor takes the win. Since *that* is what the Raptor was built for.
A *real off-road racer* .
@@franciscs1604 ram trx takes the win sir 👍
Raptor r has optional rwd, seems like a lot of fun to me
Got a $300 chip that makes trx rwd
IT DOES??
Hi
This forrest dude forgot to mention some critical factors here such as weight, transfer case options and towing capacity! To my opinion this dude has never owned a truck before and seems like a tesla driver owner lol but yeah having the option to go 2WD only on the Raptor R is a WIN for me
Lol what it shouldn't be truck? Oh like a Ridgeline "sooo cool"
HUD the most underrated car feature. Once you’ve had one you can’t go back to not having one. Especially if you do a lot of stressful driving, ie busy freeways or two lane highway, it relieves a lot of eye strain and helps keep your eyes on the road. More cars need them.
Haven’t been in a raptor r yet but driving around in a trx doesn’t seem as much fun as I thought it would be and I definitely don’t hear the supercharger unless I’m outside but maybe a different intake would change that
TRX can't go into RWD only, no thanks!
why
As a Ford guy, I do like how the Raptor R looks over the TRX, but at the same time they do have very similar performance but the TRX costs about 30K less than the Raptor R, you can’t really beat that…🤷♂️
When it comes to truck, no matter how much better one is better than the other, everyone is 99% if the time gonna pick the brand they like more. Especially on the raptor and Trx
You got a good point there. Forest does happen to own a Chrysler Pacifica so he could just prefer the RAM instead of Ford.
Exactly. Nothing he mentioned outclassed the Raptor, just preference. Either way, these are some badass trucks

I heard a lot of investing with Mr Joseph Lubin and how good he is, please how safe are the profit?
I make $ 23,450 weekly trading profit with him, I only trust Mr Joseph with my investments. am now able to send my kids to great schools in LA, all thanks to Mr Joseph
His method surprises me. A Friend that I referred to him, just received €50,150 profit after 7days of investing...I became jealous...😂
Please how can i contact Mr Joseph Lubin? I want to invest with him too
@Mike Bowinn Thanks I'll reach out to him ASAP
Congrats Forrest! That's one amazing piece of engineering you have there
Only thing I like better about the raptor is the selectable 4wd, I don’t like the idea of full time awd on a full size pickup
Both trucks are insane. Mopar and Ford truly outdid themselves on these mechanical pieces of art.
Hon, they do actually say that they did stop making head-up displays because they caused more accidents and focus tooken off the road, thats why the raptor r doesnt have a head-up display. I do see why the Raptor R costs $110,000, but the TRX’s also cost $102,000 (used and 5 years old).. So 😅, ill take the raptor r sweetheart, its better per the price.
Can't forget the exhaust sound =)
You forgot to mention some critical factors between both: Weight, transfer case options and towing capacity!
I don't think towing matters with these fancy grocery-getters
Rivian is faster than the Raptor even while pulling a trailer. Hagerty just did a video on this. The Rivian is also more off-road capable.
@@MurseTech64 Tesla cybertruck will be faster than the rivian that is why I am on that preorder list but none of this matters because we are seeing a gasoline truck video.

Someone's gonna make a new truck called the meteor, and it's gonna be about the same as these two
Well... it's kinda close but the new hummer has something similar
Meteor wiped out the Dinosaurs 🦖🦕
Rumor has it GM is working on something called Meteor/Astroid
Trx for unreliable pure speed
Raptor R for off-road baja
Just like what ya like and let's all have fun in the mud with our rides
that would have been the end of the video as far as I am concerned.
Most of the points he made would not have been deal breakers for me.
like the heads up display, it's not an issue for me, just fluff.
When he said the interior was better, that for me would be more of a deal breaker.
the makes of shocks, I don't know enough about shocks to know if that is a big deal or not.
For me, neither of them would be on my shopping list, they would be wasted on me because I don't go places that would need that type of ability, like buying a dully truck to drive around town.
Mans puts 45 minutes worth of content in to shorts. You're top class
That T-Rex/Raptor logo was dope. Should have been all over the truck.
I think it’s hidden in 5 spots throughout the truck
But it’s still slower than a raptor r on 37s not baby 35s
@Ese Vato joe Nah!! Nice try though.
@@mike_johnson87 What do you mean nice try?? The Raptor R is 450 pounds lighter than the TRX. The Raptor R will blow it out of the park with any tire.
@@PlayWaves1Bro, it's a truck, not a sports car. It's not suppose to be fast
You’re a sucker basing, your decision off of cosmetic appearances. I based mine off of mechanical advantages
1. The raptor uses a Quad cam that’s way more modern and has much better timing unlike that 60s technology single cam pushrod motor that the TRX uses
2. Fox shocks are instantly better for Baja and off-road use instead of some drawn up Beilstein shocks that aren’t known for their reliability.
3. The raptor R comes standard with 37 inch tires from factory
The list goes on and on the raptor R is a technological masterpiece. That’s heavenly, more advanced than that dated TRX. 😅
TRX interior DESTROYS Fords all day son. So much more comfortable for all passengers too
And that shot was him driving down the street to the next gas station since he just left the first one

“TRX sales are through the roof now”
No it's not there everywhere for sale I just picked up my guy from getting his car seals changed there everywhere and exactly why I'm getting my raptor r u can't even get one amd I have mine paid in full and waiting
@@randyjr3479There was a NASCAR driver who bought like 5 TRX trucks from my local ram dealer, not everyone is spoiled though
Also, you’ll have an extra 30k in your pocket after the TRX purchase….and no check engine lights….
I don't get how anyone would be able to sleep at night knowing they own a Chrysler/fiat product.
@@TheRealBmanswan thank you
@@TheRealBmanswan because it’s cheaper, faster, and all the reasons mentioned in the video
Waking up with a raptor r be like phew thank God it's still outside vs waking up with a ram TRX be like uhhh good morning 😱😱😱😱😱 wheres my truck 😂😂😂
I'm with you! TRX all the way!
Moral of the story: just buy an impreza, ain't no way i'm spendin' a near 100 grand on a goddamn pickup truck
There's WRC spec Imprezas that fetch over $100k 😂. Type RA & 22B is a perfect example
Subarus are for dykes and guys who peaked in high school
@@Devin.Kurant yeah but there are cheaper imprezas so that doesn’t matter
As a Ford guy, TRX wins hands down especially after riding in both.
You haven’t ridden in both
@joe1273 no point to prove on f****** UA-cam but working at one of the largest pre-owned dealerships in the f****** Nation one of the few benefits is you kind of get the drive everything
TRX try to get on the dinosaur bandwagon. Until it’s Baja worthy, then you can talk. Plus the basic TRX doesn’t even have keyless entry. Lmao
This man says a heads up display really they had those back in the early 2000s and they were junk and they're junk now I see these cars having these heads up display and not working in 10 or 15 years
I love that heads up display! I could test how fast I can go easier
Just get a pink mini cooper if you’re trying to go "fast" cause these trucks are for off roading.
@@bullymaguire4457 I don't think anyone uses these for off-roading anymore, although it does have a sizeable bed for transporting things, I hope people don't buy them for asthetics and power figures but use them for their true cause.

@joshg4953 what you're saying is opposite of what is documented right here on this platform.
Couldn't you build a way better performance truck for the $60-$70k premium over a standard Ram or F150?
More likely to see Raptor everywhere.
If I had the money I’d get both and then decide which one I like best ! Till then both are awesome!
Im in Dallas too, I’ll come hold the camera for you! 😂
You can choose but the most important question is can you really afford a 150k truck😅? I don’t know but as far as I am concerned an average person in USA make less 100k a year and don’t even own a house so? These vehicles aren’t for the regular folks high middle class at the minimum unless you really do not care about owning a real home. 😅
ford has terrible quality control, even on their lariats , shits kinda sad how you pay that much money and your doors, door knobs, gas tank door, side steps, everything just feels like its gonna fall off
ILL STILL TAKE THE RAPTOR R ANYDAY
TRX gonna be one of your most regretted choices when that block cracks and costs more then the car to replace it
Dodge interior is far superior
If they would have put twin or single turbo on the raptor and Bilstein shocks. Would have been way better in my opinion
Meanwhile, you can get a truck for 4k that actually does truck things. So what if the tranny blows up in 50k miles? It was 4k and hauled your tools for a year
Ok Forrest auto review. You went with the Dodge because it has heads up display and $30k cheaper.
That dodge TRX will never hold its value like the Raptor and Raptor R. The TRX will always be cheap iin price and mechanically compared to the Raptor.
I can't really tell the difference between the trx or the rebel. All you hear on the trx is super charger wine. The raptor you can hear the American v8💪
