I'm teaching myself Power BI paginated reports and have been trying to figure out how to allow users to select the columns. Your tutorial was spot on and I've now got my report working. Thank you!
I don't know of a built-in way to do that in SSRS. You could write use the SWITCH function in a calculated field: =SWITCH( Fields!MonthName.Value = "January", "I", Fields!MonthName.Value = "February", "II", ... Etc.

I've been using SSRS for years, but have never considered using a textbox to toggle column visibility before. That might come in very handy.
Happy to hear that the video showed you something new! Thanks for watching!
Is SSRS still being worth learning, is in Use in current IT companies?
Hi! Companies still book SSRS courses with us in 2024.

Hi! There are no column groups in the tables shown in this video. You need to enable advanced mode for the grouping pane as shown @03:55 in the video.

Dear Sir, please help, how to convert month into roman format, January = I , February= II, May = V ,etc

=SWITCH(
Fields!MonthName.Value = "January", "I",
