I get the feeling that for a while now, the drip feed vehicles for GTAV online are just GTA6 vehicles optimised for the older game.

Quite interesting, how real these cars look. It's like, Rockstar either ran out of ideas, or they are not afraid to get sued, for the designs :D

Rockstar has changed a lot in the way it introduces new vehicles to GTAO. Designers are increasingly looking more like real life and less “mixed” with other vehicle models. The details are more noticeable to the eye and the physics seem to have changed, giving the impression of being closer to the physics of GTA IV

I like these new cars, specially those which could be easily day by day cars you see on traffic. I hope when GTA VI we can have all these cars spawning on traffic from day 1
The Christmas Truck won't be a storable vehicle i think. It will be driving around the map dropping stuff like snacks & armour for the Christmas event.

We really need the Taxi and cruiser variant of Impaler SZ, it was identical to GTA SA Premier
The one in GTA SA was a Chevy Caprice C91 version of the Impala SS. SZ is the Impala SS version sporty version of the Chevy Caprice.

Yeah a Cavalcade-based one as a equivalent to the Silverado/Sierra GMT800 (even if there's only one cab configuration and the rest becomes a mod)

I just love we are getting police cars to own..they definitely were part of the rumoured cops n crooks, I wish we got the full update or had cop missions like gta vigilante and better outfits..mostly for rp on console as pc have rp servers and mods for single player.

Impaler SZ should be called Premier Classic
The Premier is based on a Cobalt, so that wouldn't make sense.

Turismo Omaggio could be named that way cuz of the name of the real car, using Rockstar logic F8 Tribuito is part of the F range and therefore is a modern version of the F40
Dorado is named based on Durango but why they didnt name is Gresley idk
The Terminus is a weird one too, not sure why it doesnt share the mesa name...

As someone said before, many DLC cars are just tweaked copies of their real-life counterparts. This could lead to a licensing issue, no?
No, Rockstar knows how far they can make them similar to real life cars & they still wouldn't get sued for it. It always has been like this.
You can tell they’ve been getting more confident with how far they can go. Especially when you compare DLC cars to the vanilla day-one cars

Sad they only made a soft top Mustang, kinda wished they let us customize it to have a hard top ngl.
Also at 4:00 it looks so much like the Brigham, which was an old GTA3 car that Rockstar would've intended to release, but scrapped.
And I don't understand why some of the cars have different names than other counterparts they previously released, like they just let FiveM devs take over with coming up with names.

Honestly, i don't mind we can buy them now, but wish theres a garage to store them exclusively, also I wish we can buy the other cop car, the Police Maverick and so on, also new ones too, maybe classic variants also like such, love some classic Police cars like a Police Uranus, Police Cruiser Classic and such, also a civilian version of the 2nd gen Stanier as well as a Stanier Classic (LTD Crown Vic), also we need some other service vehicles too like a Fire Cruiser (Fire Fighter version of the Police Cruiser), Air Ambulance and so on, also vehicles from GTA4 like the Police Merit, Police Patriot, Noose Patriot, Noose Cruiser and so on, also 1st gen Police Cruiser, Police Stinger (plus Presidente) and so on, so yeah
You can now have police cars and customise it to your PD colour. But I personally like the black and white…

for the dclasse vigeo zx the car in the pic there is no 2016 model its the 2017-2018 model but the zx is based on the 2019-2024 and the declasse vigero zx convertible is based on the 2020-2024 camaro ss converible

The crown victoria appears to be the 2007 model rather than the 98 model. Super similar but minor details make it a little tad different

they're almost exactly copying cars now. not a good thing. though they may be legally allowed to do it thanks to the EA lawsuit a while back claiming games as art which can't be censored, the uniqueness of inspired cars and lore friendly stylization made such a nice comingling of parody rockstar elements alongside the world. but now basically we're getting real life modded cars among cluckin bell and burger shot signs which i've always hated so much. it's just so wrong feeling. they just feel so out of place, like they don't belong. always having a debate of what real car inspired which end of a gta car was a lot of the fun of them too. they don't even mix and match anymore. at least if they did that, the real cars would still have a significant rockstar touch. but nah, just, basically exact copies of one car and only slightly different lights to tell it apart. rip.

Agreed, but i do not mind some are from GTA6, but all shouldn't tbh, should have some new one's that may be in GTA6 or add one's from GTA4 and whatevers cut from GTA4 and GTA5 as well as new ones and ones from GTA6, so yeah
The gta community will never be uniformly happy with changes. While it was definitely fun figuring out which car the gta version took the most inspiration from, some people have wanted the exact cars.
I don't know how Rockstar Games have not been demanded for copyright because of the Declasse Impala lx name. It should be name Declasse Impaler Lx, because they have a car named Deflasse Impaler because both cars are the same.
