No its still (kinda) gas piston, it does have lockup, when you fire, theres a sensor in the barrel that detects the bullet, unlocks the bolt and then pushes it

he used a metal detector for the primer as you can see this weird lazer thing well i dont know the placements but two things you can make primers is using electricity or metal detectors

the system i use for gas operations (a motion detector and infinite explosive) requires a very slow bullet so it can actually detect it , i could make it faster by having a second infinite explosive in the barrel propel it to a reasonable speed
