To be honest, when you look at what happened to Lisa, you can't help but feel sorry for Dracula. She was a pure person and the first one to show him love in centuries, and what happens to her? Even if i hadn’t loose anyone still i have a hatred against human kind.... If i were that much powerful i would rather walk on the streets and cleaning all the filthy humans from existence... It's sad to think that according to the history of Castlevania, Dracula became what he is because his first wife died. At that time he is only a human filled with grief that he did everything, even betrayed his friend (the first Belmont Hunter) and became the vampire he is until he met Lisa who looks identical to his first wife (ya know, kinda like Mina of Bram Stoker with the reincarnation and all except Castlevania version). I think when I saw Alucard crying at the last scene in season 2 that maybe Dracula became so elusive because of the monotonous way of his life after what happened with the Belmonts. Ya know, they attack, he fought back, repeat. Kinda gets you bored and depressed if you think about it because he just have too much enemies, both from the humans and monsters alike. And according to this series (cause in the game, it's different) Dracula is just that old sage who knows too much, not just because of his modern science that people thinks is blasphemy but also because of his experience with time. He just looks so fed up with his dead eyes and withered soul (if he have one) that burst into life when he met Lisa. Then his wife died. Again. If you think about it, it's poetically melancholic that his wife was both his salvation and downfall.
You really can't blame Dracula for losing his shit after what they did to her. But, as both Godbrand and Alucard said, his genocidal war against the humans was actually history's longest suicide note. He had even quit feeding since she died knowing someone would come for him. He wanted to be weak enough to fall.

This point also brings to light the fact that even though Dracula hadn't fed in at least a year, even though he was the weakest he'd been in possibly centuries, he was still strong enough to completely overpower Alucard, Belmont and Sypha (I am positive I spelled her name wrong...) If he hadn't allowed Alucard to kill him, all three of them would have died brutally.

Well, I binged the last 2 seasons of the Castlevania series...except I had thought that I finished it, but I did not watch the last episode of season 4. Because I thought that it ended on episode 9. That really upset me 😅

@@dravenocklost4253 animation some times gets a little choppy and the show is short I really wanted the show to be longer so the character's could get developed better except Dracula he was a master piece of a charecter
