Let me tell you what makes “her, her”. I’ve watched several “vocal coaches” who give their opinion on specific songs and artists and I stumbled upon Beth a couple of months ago. First of all, I get the biggest kick out of the way she says “them, them”. Who on earth doesn’t love the variety of accents found in the countries of Great Britain but a Scottish accent is just so.....cool. Some day I want to hear her listen to a song then say in her heaviest Scottish accent and roll of the tongue, “ that was a pile of crrrrrrrrrrrrrrap”! How anyone can be so cheerful and positive all of the time? The world needs more Beths. On to the music thing..... Beth obviously has superb musical chops and her background in musical theatre is obvious when she performs as she puts far more than a great set of vocal chords into a song. (Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas is my fav) If she’s being honest in all of her evaluations, she has very eclectic taste which is to be praised. In reading that she has significant experience in arranging, I’d love to see a video of how her more “professional” side as she goes through the process of preparing a show for a cruise line for instance. These “analysis” videos are fun to watch and her instantaneous evaluations of techniques and the terminology she uses, demonstrate her vast knowledge. It’s apparent that there is great intellect behind the perfect smile, magical eyes and warm personality. It’s all great stuff that keeps us all smiling.
This song belongs to the album Mas, in which it is included. This album came out in 1997, and it is the best selling album in Spain until today year 2023. Two other songs included in it are "Corazón partio" and "Y si fuera ella", which are great, I recommend them to you. Alejandro Sanz, is the composer and author of the lyrics of his songs, as well as its arranger. Your reactions are great.

You can tell she has been trained and she knows about the topic. Usually singing youtubers don't even know what a pasaggio is and yet they try to judge live singing. I really love how she enjoys the interpreting as well as the singing. This is a great video!

Claro, en una interpretación de êste calibre es más el todo! La producción, el Teatro, la interpretación, el todo! Aùn así los recursos têcnicos que tiene son amplios, aùn disfónico, donde aùn eso le queda bien.
es uno de sus primeros concierto si recuerdo correctamente, y creo que amiga mía era la 4 ó 5 canción en el repertorio del concierto, en esa época cuando dio el concierto aquí en Venezuela fui con mi mejor amiga, y le encanto fue exelente!

I wish you would've used his unplugged concert version instead, where you can really listen to his amazing voice. Understanding that if I were in the crowd I would be singing it too, but its best to listen to him by himself. Most of his songs are just gorgeous art.

The Legend Alejandro Sanz. It marked my teenage years. My God thank you. I actually cried. His story telling ability is amazing. Not to mention, he has composed all his lyrics and music.
Plsssss Beth, please, check out live version of Mi soledad y yo by Alejandro Sanz, David Bisbal is on it, and it's a great chance to check both of them at the same time! Bisbal has a gorgeous voice even tho he mostly sings pure 'american' pop, except on his earlier work.

Alejandro said on an interview that he wrote that song not because he was in love with a friend but he had a friend who was madly in love with another friend. She asked him about this other guy every single day and he was really fed up 😅, so he decided to write a song instead of telling his friend to F off 😂 That’s why the lyrics says: it’s not intelligence, not even wisdom, this is the way I speak, it’s not my job, it’s my language

Alejandro is im my opinion one of the best song writers ever!! He's also an incredible Spanish guitar player btw!!! This song is about a man that has been friend zoned by his love. She is in love with someone else, and that other man mostly takes advantage of that. Alejandro calls her a Princess of an never ending or infinite story. And says he doesn't know what to say or do to see her happy. He writes lines like: "He should fill you pockets with battles that have been won, with renewed hopes and dreams. I want to gift you a poem, instead you think I'm bringing you the news". I was lucky enough to have seen him live. Drove 4 hours to Miami, FL after work and back the same night, and went to work the next morning. WORTH IT!!!
