- Hello! I made a pattern for an "apron" dress and I bought a pinafore apron on Etsy to convert to a dress, as well! I'd love to know what you think of both.

These are beautiful, well done! So twirly, very good shape. I think I like the one that was hard to make better, it’s a bit more defined. I love pinafores, I use them as my crafting apron, the ones I have have nice big front pockets that are awesome. This would’ve been a meltdown project for me for sure 😂 I’ve wanted to punch my sewing machine before when it’s misbehaving… sometimes you gotta walk away before anything gets smashed 😊

I really want to dress exactly like this but evry time I try to wear something different than tshirts and cargo pants people point it out/make a big deal about it and I feel PERCIEVED and don't want to do it again.
I'm sorry! I don't like being singled out in person, either, even sometimes when people are being positive. It's highly uncomfortable. I was able to get over the hump of people noticing, and now I've been dressing this way so long that no one bats an eye. It's hard to get to that point, though, I acknowledge.
I have ADHD and I also don’t bother with breaks. I have pulled all nighters more than once.
It is so tough on us! I know I get in that zone, and I don't know when I will have that kind of energy again, but I also need that break.
