I think one statistic that isn’t discussed is his reaction speed. It’s always been what impressed me in dragon ball or any high powered anime like this. I’ve done combat sports since I was 11, when you go against some people you don’t even perceive what they’re doing. When saitama fights against someone else who can surpass the speed of light it would also mean he isn’t chasing what he sees. He’s chasing his anticipation of where they’ll be since it would basically be an afterimage at all times. His reaction speed is basically him seeing into the future. He’s broken the limiter on his nervous systems. His nerve impulses are traveling themselves faster than the speed of light and he’s predicting every move his opponent will make.
when he says full power, he means he doesn’t have to contain his power to prevent Earth from getting destroyed. it means he can use whatever is necessary to beat Garou (without killing him) without having severe collateral damage
@Money Man Tbh I kinda doubt it at that point. Goku may be insanely strong but he doesn't seem to be invulnerable like Saitama. Heck he even got knocked by a tiny laser gun... Not just that, as we've seen in this video. Saitama's PUNCH was able to destroy multiple distant stars... I know Goku CAN destroy a planet with his ki attacks but with a punch? We don't really get to see Goku having the PHYSICAL strength that is capable of destroying culsters of stars in one go. Although we all know that Goku has the most amount of fighting experience. But when it comes to raw physical strength, it feels like Saitama has the upperand here. Plus, Saitama is already known to be limitless so theres that.
My theory is that there are actually mutltiple limiters. The first one is the physical limiter, which Garou broke and possibly Blast and his team. The second limiter is the universal limiter. There is a limit to how strong something can be if it abides by the physical laws of the universe (for instance, nothing being able to move faster than the speed of light). I believe Garou has hit this limiter but not broken it. In other words, he is as strong as the Universe will allow him to be. Saitama has somehow broken the universal limiter, and hence he can do things that should be impossible.
Saitama is most likely not giving his 100% in this fight, and probably cannot ever reach his 100% as we know he has infinite potential due to him breaking his limiter. Even thought his power is not infinite, him having limitless potential means that he can always go more.
Saitama didnt break his limiter he removed it. This means he has infinite strenght, not infinite POTENTIAL. Goku for exemple has infinite potential, while saitama has infinite power.

Basically a human can't get strong enough to lift a plane, no matter how much he trains for his entire life, but with a limiter removed he will eventually get strong enough to lift said plane. other characters for example will break their limit and go beyond what their body would be able to do over and over again, but saitama doesn't have this, his limiter is removed and so he is always able to keep getting stronger without a level cap.
Also would like to note that in addition to destroying multiple stars, the light also disappeared immediately meaning not only did the blast wave go way faster than the speed of light to instantly destroy countless stars, but some how destroyed all the light which would still have been traveling regardless of the source being destroyed.

saitama once took it all out. it was the thing he had been waiting for the most. to reach his current level meant that he had fought a celestial being at the end of his three years of training. saitama knows if garou's attack can destroy the earth that means he has experienced a fight at that level. and he didn't hesitate to destroy the moon meaning that he had experienced battles at that level. Something else to take into consideration is that the mass of a human traveling even 2,640 times the speed of light would impart immeasurable energy into the moon upon impact likely destroying everything in the solar system. It shows the moon take heavy damage but it obviously wasn’t destroyed, so you could further extrapolate this scenario. Saitama managed to slow himself down during that journey enough to not destroy the moon. That implicates that not only was he going even faster than these estimates, but his brain somehow operates fast enough to react in time.
I think limitless puts things into perspective perfectly. All these numbers are arbitrary. His power is enough to destroy galaxies and id even go as far as to say he could destroy the whole universe. Being limitless means his strength is infinite so no matter how how strong we think he is he is always stronger still. His power if he’s truly limitless means there is no way to truly grasp or quantify his power.
Yeah at first I wasn’t quite sure how strong he was but after this last chapter I have no doubt destroying a galaxy is well within his capabilities. He literally created a void within the observable universe completely devoid of stars with a single punch.

Saitama's power feels more like it's based on what he believes. He believes his strength is super powerful so it reflects that, he believed he couldn't breathe in space, so he couldn't, but when he didn't care, he was able to be just fine. So probably there's no limit. It's neat.

One thing that I have always wondered... Saitama has never been hurt, so we have no idea whether or not he has a healing factor. So if for some reason he actually does get hurt (if he even can be hurt) we still have no idea if that will actually do anything because with all of his huge boosts to his other abilities I think it would actually make LESS sense if he doesn't have one. So even if someone is able to hurt Saitama for all we know that will still mean absolutely nothing.
Well his healing factor can be attributed to a limitless immune system. If everything about Siatama has been scaled to limitless then it is definetly plausible that his own cellular reproduction has become 100% regeneration.
I feel like there’ll be a couple of smaller on earth arcs first, bring down the power curve for a while to get some stories like the early series again. But the next major arc (remember this is still technically the monster association arc, theres not been a proper resolution yet) will be with blast and god.
Just one thing to note here: That hole in Space does not mean, that they Destroyed the stars. It means that the force was so great, that they neutralized photons and canceled out lightwaves. The attack might not have reached the stars, but it sure has switched of some lights for the moment. And that feat is more impressive than blowing up Stars. For context, to influence light, you need eigther light that has the perfect polar opposite wave pattern, gravitational pull that rivals Black holes, or a force backed by dense particles that can undo Black holes. By that logic he is on Galaxy level already, not just multi star system level.
Let’s say saitama isn’t infinite, but has no limiter. This means that everyday, every second saitama gains strength. Everything he does makes him stronger. Since there is no limit to break or overcome, to stop him from getting much stronger that quickly. Saitama has limitless potential, not limitless strength. So he doesn't get stronger everyday naturally, it means that he has the ability to keep growing as long he keeps training/exerting effort. Genus says that it limits the growth of a human being, not their strength. Its stated that Saitama's growth was caused by his determination and effort. Which means that Saitama would need to constantly put in effort to grow, and his growth will be proportional to his effort.

I have a thought. What if the evil celestial being (God) is Saitama himself? As stated earlier, someone who breaks their limiter would become a mindless monster. What if God is Saitama whos travelling different timelines, giving power to other so that he can be stopped in the past and stop his eventual rampage?
I thought of a crazy theory. When Saitama saves that kid all the way back in the first few chapters, what if that kid was the wish giver of god! Blast must've been more active during that time and could have stopped God before Saitama was made under his control, yet the wish came through. Little to Saitama's knowledge his powers actually came from that vessel of God and not the training arc. His determination combined with the fact that he accepted God's powers truly means he removed his limiter (instead of breaking it like Garou)

He didn't just obliterate stars, he potentially obliterated whole galaxies in the direction that energy was sent. Having enough energy to stop/push photons out of the way so they don't reach viewers eyes from that direction could be the other answer. Either way it's insane.
Using his “full power” can mean a lot of things coming from Saitama. What we know is that when he takes things seriously, it means he’s actually trying. But remember what Boros told Saitama after the serious punch. He was still holding back some strength. This to me shows that yes, while Saitama is technically going “full power” with his serious attacks, it doesn’t mean he’s unleashing everything he has from his arsenal. We’ve still yet to receive confirmation if he actually took damage or not, so judgement is still withheld until the next chapter. If Saitama did indeed bleed with that punch… it shatters the argument that Saitama is just a gag character that wins every fight easily, and shows that yes, he actually isn’t invincible. Probably capable of getting stronger, yes, but it would mean he can indeed be put in a tier. All the naysayers that believed Saitama was just a one hit non-serious gag character will now be completely silenced, if they haven’t been already. At the same time, his feats seem to be, in terms of damage to the environment, far more impressive than what Goku has done. Even Frieza uses energy blasts to destroy planets, same goes for about everyone in Dragon Ball. I’ve never once seen a character literally punch a planet into non-existence. Though Beerus probably could, but I do wonder if he could only do that with Hakai. In terms of pure raw strength, Saitama may just be stronger. He doesn’t have Ki, after all. And this is only the beginning. He’s fighting Garou who has only a sliver of god’s power. Imagine what it’ll be like when he fights that god himself. I can already see them fighting in-between different dimensions and realities, blowing up the cosmos, while Blast and his allies try to hold the freaking multiverse together from their clash. Beerus finger tapped a planet and Goku's punch clash threatened to destroy the universe and he punched away a ki ball that then preceded to destroy a planet. Also the dragon ball universe aka the universe 7 macrocosm it bare minimum 3 plus universe's in size

A misconception, but the 'stars' we see in the night sky aren't just stars. They're other solar systems, and even galaxies. And that's just in the VISIBLE night sky. There are other systems and galaxies in the 'black' portions of the night sky; we just need powerful telescopes to see them. So Saitama's recent feat is guaranteed to be multi-galaxy buster at minimum. And he's still holding back.

I have been telling people Saitama warps reality since the Bouros fight. The speed at which Saitama hit the moon should have shattered the moon. It didn't, which means Saitama had to have either absorbed or negated an impact capable of destroying the moon instantly.
When looking at stars like that, especially in such a wide view, what we perceive as stars would in fact be entire galaxies or nebulas that are just so far away they appear as simple stars. With that in mind, to create a literal void in space like that blast did would likely scale several hundreds of millions to billions of times more than you've concluded with your calculation of the Graviational Binding Energy needed to destroy the sun.
Basically this is a debunk to a certain show that assume that Saitama power was that. I don't know why they put it on air without knowing his true strength when this manga chapter show the power of Saitama strength, if not maybe even higher.
Saitama "does" have infinite power and here's how I can prove it. In order for a being to get stronger they need to surpass his current routine/training or face stronger opponents everytime; but considering that Saitama doesn't even train at all nor have opponents stronger than him, it is impossible for him to grow any further. We already know Saitama can destroy planets but if we look closely at his opponents "before" he got bald, they aren't even planet busters, they're just wolf/tiger lvls, therefore he can only grow so much; but how on earth can he kill opponents with one shot and destroy a planet without the proper routine and opponents... Honestly people assume that the workout is easy the. Do it train for 3 years nonstop with no heater and no ac and try doing it is a feat in its self plus not giving your body the time to rest makes it just build your body faster and faster the harder you train it but it seems that he took it further then by keep on training his body is now broken to the point it’s just healing itself showing he has a amazing healing factor as well because your body would legit go paralyzed from doing that everyday with no break for 3+ years

Saitama is actually multi galaxy level. Human can see the Andromeda galaxy which happens to be more than 2.5 million light years away. Milkyway galaxy is 52000 light years. Not all the dots in the space are stars. Some dots are a whole galaxy itself. those galaxy are so far away that it looks like a star. And saitama wiped out all of them at a certain direction So hes galaxy+ level

The speed from the punch explosion, it isn’t just that he withstood that velocity, you didn’t realise he threw himself at that speed from the power of a punch. Legs are stronger than arms so could launch himself harder with a leg than arm, so each step while running at full speed would send him further and therefore faster than shoving himself backwards with a punch.
I really love this chapter, but the implications of that void in the stars is just crazy. And not a single channel even considered this possibility We know that the percentage of life happening on any planet is quite low, but it's not zero. That many stars could have contained life, which means that, that attack alone, eradicated possibly quadrillions, quintillions or even more crazy quantifiable amount of life forms. (That is, if the impact really did kill off all the stars there.) It would mean that Blast, literally traded the life in the planet of Earth (possibly numbering around ~10 Billion) to the life of all the people in those stars, which could really scale up to an unimaginable amount. Without even reacting to it (he was more worried to what happened to Saitama and Garou). This is crazy because Blast is portrayed as a person with a hero-like personality. While this would mean that the punch's impact is EVEN MORE crazier than we could have possibly imagined, it also means that Blast is willing to trade innumerable lives compared to the people living on Earth. And Saitama is basically a part of an innumerable amount of murder (genocide). BUT, I do have another way of interpreting this, without those deaths occurring. We know that light doesn't travel instantaneously, and that it composes of particles called "photons". Although they're massless, they should be not immune to collisions considering they're part of the universe and is literally a particle. Establishing this, I think that the impact should have only have stopped any photons (light) from reaching us momentarily. Which means that, the impact acted like a shockwave, expelling any particles in an outward fashion. Although this scales the power of that punch down quite a bit, it also makes a lot more sense. However, I do think that the possibility of this is highly unlikely, and that void will continue to be there in the upcoming chapters. I really hope not.
What are you suggesting? That Blast should've been open to letting his own planet and people die if it meant sparing collateral damage in the distant universe? He and Saitama didn't murder anyone. Murder requires intent and there was no intent to kill anyone outside maybe Garou. Blast did what he could to spare the Earth and he still needed help to achieve that. Its not even proven that that part of the galaxy had life. At the end of the day, this is a crazy situation and there is no time for moping about the rest of the universe becoming collateral as Blast tries to protect the Earth.
His intention at that time (Blast) was indeed good, and maybe it was such a stretch to call it murder (Saitama). However, that many stars is just truly too significant to ignore. Not to mention, most of those light are probably from entire galaxies themselves (which has billions of stars). What I probably wanted to see, is that, if those stars really were destroyed, then at least Blast could have reacted to it.

What he’s saying is that even if the stars/galaxies in that direction got deleted, the light would still be there due to the speed of light needs time to get from the stars to earth. You're underestimating that attack there. Although they appear to be a single star, many of the "stars" we see in the night sky are actually entire galaxies that are so far away that they look like they are a single star. So, that clash destroyed several thousand galaxies.
It should be mentioned that hitting Io at those ridiculous speeds should've vaporized it. So somehow those two managed to disperse all that energy without destroying the moon.
I think people are overhyping the energy from the serious punch squared too much. Because some of those sparkles are not just stars, some of them might be a galaxy or even clusters of galaxies this means that the impact was so huge and powerful that it obliterated trillions of stars over a huge space and I just don't think they can do that. If it did actually destroyed them then it should still take millions of years before they disappear from sight because their light still have to travel even though they are destroyed. I think what actually happened is that the energy accelerated so much that it bent the light it comes into contact with making it look like the stars and galaxies suddenly vanish. I can say this because gravity is able to bend light and gravity is just a type of acceleration therefore it is entirely possible that the energy simply accelerated so high that light itself bent away from it. But I do not know if the author knows that concept so they may have taken creative liberties in order to show that the attack actually destroyed stars and galaxies. Also, take not that I 100% believe saitama's serious punch could destroy the sun and I am just saying this to provide a different interpretation from the ones most people think.

But if that is the case shouldn't the energy dissipate. No matter how powerful an energy is if you have to displace it over a huge area it wouldn't be able to do any type of damage. Even if we assume that a single serious punch is strong enough to destroy the sun and we square it, it doesn't make sense that it is strong enough to destroy multiple galaxies millions of lightyears away.

I think one statistic that isn’t discussed is his reaction speed. It’s always been what impressed me in dragon ball or any high powered anime like this. I’ve done combat sports since I was 11, when you go against some people you don’t even perceive what they’re doing. When saitama fights against someone else who can surpass the speed of light it would also mean he isn’t chasing what he sees. He’s chasing his anticipation of where they’ll be since it would basically be an afterimage at all times. His reaction speed is basically him seeing into the future. He’s broken the limiter on his nervous systems. His nerve impulses are traveling themselves faster than the speed of light and he’s predicting every move his opponent will make.

My theory is that there are actually mutltiple limiters. The first one is the physical limiter, which Garou broke and possibly Blast and his team. The second limiter is the universal limiter. There is a limit to how strong something can be if it abides by the physical laws of the universe (for instance, nothing being able to move faster than the speed of light). I believe Garou has hit this limiter but not broken it. In other words, he is as strong as the Universe will allow him to be. Saitama has somehow broken the universal limiter, and hence he can do things that should be impossible.

I have a thought. What if the evil celestial being (God) is Saitama himself? As stated earlier, someone who breaks their limiter would become a mindless monster. What if God is Saitama whos travelling different timelines, giving power to other so that he can be stopped in the past and stop his eventual rampage?

I thought of a crazy theory.
When Saitama saves that kid all the way back in the first few chapters, what if that kid was the wish giver of god! Blast must've been more active during that time and could have stopped God before Saitama was made under his control, yet the wish came through. Little to Saitama's knowledge his powers actually came from that vessel of God and not the training arc. His determination combined with the fact that he accepted God's powers truly means he removed his limiter (instead of breaking it like Garou)
That's a good theory, but I personally really like the idea that he himself broke his own limiter.

He didn't just obliterate stars, he potentially obliterated whole galaxies in the direction that energy was sent. Having enough energy to stop/push photons out of the way so they don't reach viewers eyes from that direction could be the other answer. Either way it's insane.

Using his “full power” can mean a lot of things coming from Saitama. What we know is that when he takes things seriously, it means he’s actually trying. But remember what Boros told Saitama after the serious punch. He was still holding back some strength. This to me shows that yes, while Saitama is technically going “full power” with his serious attacks, it doesn’t mean he’s unleashing everything he has from his arsenal. We’ve still yet to receive confirmation if he actually took damage or not, so judgement is still withheld until the next chapter. If Saitama did indeed bleed with that punch… it shatters the argument that Saitama is just a gag character that wins every fight easily, and shows that yes, he actually isn’t invincible. Probably capable of getting stronger, yes, but it would mean he can indeed be put in a tier. All the naysayers that believed Saitama was just a one hit non-serious gag character will now be completely silenced, if they haven’t been already.
At the same time, his feats seem to be, in terms of damage to the environment, far more impressive than what Goku has done. Even Frieza uses energy blasts to destroy planets, same goes for about everyone in Dragon Ball. I’ve never once seen a character literally punch a planet into non-existence. Though Beerus probably could, but I do wonder if he could only do that with Hakai. In terms of pure raw strength, Saitama may just be stronger. He doesn’t have Ki, after all.
And this is only the beginning. He’s fighting Garou who has only a sliver of god’s power. Imagine what it’ll be like when he fights that god himself. I can already see them fighting in-between different dimensions and realities, blowing up the cosmos, while Blast and his allies try to hold the freaking multiverse together from their clash.
Edit: DB characters have destroyed planets with their clashes.
Idk about entire star systems with just the expended energy though.
Beerus finger tapped a planet and Goku's punch clash threatened to destroy the universe and he punched away a ki ball that then preceded to destroy a planet. Also the dragon ball universe aka the universe 7 macrocosm it bare minimum 3 plus universe's in size

I have been telling people Saitama warps reality since the Bouros fight. The speed at which Saitama hit the moon should have shattered the moon. It didn't, which means Saitama had to have either absorbed or negated an impact capable of destroying the moon instantly.

When looking at stars like that, especially in such a wide view, what we perceive as stars would in fact be entire galaxies or nebulas that are just so far away they appear as simple stars. With that in mind, to create a literal void in space like that blast did would likely scale several hundreds of millions to billions of times more than you've concluded with your calculation of the Graviational Binding Energy needed to destroy the sun.

Saitama "does" have infinite power and here's how I can prove it.
In order for a being to get stronger they need to surpass his current routine/training or face stronger opponents everytime; but considering that Saitama doesn't even train at all nor have opponents stronger than him, it is impossible for him to grow any further.
We already know Saitama can destroy planets but if we look closely at his opponents "before" he got bald, they aren't even planet busters, they're just wolf/tiger lvls, therefore he can only grow so much; but how on earth can he kill opponents with one shot and destroy a planet without the proper routine and opponents... Simple, He removed his limiter and obtained infinite power.

Saitama is actually multi galaxy level. Human can see the Andromeda galaxy which happens to be more than 2.5 million light years away. Milkyway galaxy is 52000 light years. Not all the dots in the space are stars. Some dots are a whole galaxy itself. those galaxy are so far away that it looks like a star. And saitama wiped out all of them at a certain direction

The speed from the punch explosion, it isn’t just that he withstood that velocity, you didn’t realise he threw himself at that speed from the power of a punch. Legs are stronger than arms so could launch himself harder with a leg than arm, so each step while running at full speed would send him further and therefore faster than shoving himself backwards with a punch.
I really love this chapter, but the implications of that void in the stars is just crazy. And not a single channel even considered this possibility
We know that the percentage of life happening on any planet is quite low, but it's not zero. That many stars could have contained life, which means that, that attack alone, eradicated possibly quadrillions, quintillions or even more crazy quantifiable amount of life forms. (That is, if the impact really did kill off all the stars there.)
It would mean that Blast, literally traded the life in the planet of Earth (possibly numbering around ~10 Billion) to the life of all the people in those stars, which could really scale up to an unimaginable amount. Without even reacting to it (he was more worried to what happened to Saitama and Garou). This is crazy because Blast is portrayed as a person with a hero-like personality.
While this would mean that the punch's impact is EVEN MORE crazier than we could have possibly imagined, it also means that Blast is willing to trade innumerable lives compared to the people living on Earth. And Saitama is basically a part of an innumerable amount of murder (genocide).
BUT, I do have another way of interpreting this, without those deaths occurring. We know that light doesn't travel instantaneously, and that it composes of particles called "photons". Although they're massless, they should be not immune to collisions considering they're part of the universe and is literally a particle. Establishing this, I think that the impact should have only have stopped any photons (light) from reaching us momentarily. Which means that, the impact acted like a shockwave, expelling any particles in an outward fashion.
Although this scales the power of that punch down quite a bit, it also makes a lot more sense. However, I do think that the possibility of this is highly unlikely, and that void will continue to be there in the upcoming chapters. I really hope not.
What are you suggesting? That Blast should've been open to letting his own planet and people die if it meant sparing collateral damage in the distant universe? He and Saitama didn't murder anyone. Murder requires intent and there was no intent to kill anyone outside maybe Garou. Blast did what he could to spare the Earth and he still needed help to achieve that. Its not even proven that that part of the galaxy had life.
At the end of the day, this is a crazy situation and there is no time for moping about the rest of the universe becoming collateral as Blast tries to protect the Earth.
His intention at that time (Blast) was indeed good, and maybe it was such a stretch to call it murder (Saitama). However, that many stars is just truly too significant to ignore. Not to mention, most of those light are probably from entire galaxies themselves (which has billions of stars).
What I probably wanted to see, is that, if those stars really were destroyed, then at least Blast could have reacted to it.

I think people are overhyping the energy from the serious punch squared too much. Because some of those sparkles are not just stars, some of them might be a galaxy or even clusters of galaxies this means that the impact was so huge and powerful that it obliterated trillions of stars over a huge space and I just don't think they can do that. If it did actually destroyed them then it should still take millions of years before they disappear from sight because their light still have to travel even though they are destroyed. I think what actually happened is that the energy accelerated so much that it bent the light it comes into contact with making it look like the stars and galaxies suddenly vanish. I can say this because gravity is able to bend light and gravity is just a type of acceleration therefore it is entirely possible that the energy simply accelerated so high that light itself bent away from it. But I do not know if the author knows that concept so they may have taken creative liberties in order to show that the attack actually destroyed stars and galaxies. Also, take not that I 100% believe saitama's serious punch could destroy the sun and I am just saying this to provide a different interpretation from the ones most people think.

But if that is the case shouldn't the energy dissipate. No matter how powerful an energy is if you have to displace it over a huge area it wouldn't be able to do any type of damage. Even if we assume that a single serious punch is strong enough to destroy the sun and we square it, it doesn't make sense that it is strong enough to destroy multiple galaxies millions of lightyears away.
