Ruby thank you. so much for your UA-cam knitting lessons. I am 89 years old and I love to knit, but have forgotten a lot of patterns etc. I have new great- grandchildren so I am busy knitting little hats for them. In my day I knit coats for myself and a myriad of sweaters etc. Thank you for reminding me. Your instructions are so easy to follow, and you take your time to show us each step. Thank you again.
So pleased I found your UA-cam. In lockdown in South Africa and knitting for charity. Love your simple beautiful patterns. Loving knitting the baby sweater and hat. Thank you❤️🔒
Thanks so much for your help. I was totally new to knitting and your wonderful method of teaching helped me make cute hat for my little angel. Thanks again and may you be blessed.
I’ve just completed the little hat and it turned out beautiful thank you ruby I would like to show you it but I don’t know how to thank you once again I really appreciate your help bless you
Hi Ruby, I love your videos. they have helped me to create beautiful things for my children. I have a granddaughter now and am planning to make this set. I look forward to the sweater video. God bless you and keep uploading the videos. Thank you!!!
Good Morning Ruby. Deirdre from The Bronx here. I have been away from the internet for a long while now. My grandson was born in November in California. Been helping out alot because my son and daughter in law are both in the Navy. Now my neice and nephew (in New York) both have a baby boy on the way😊. so I watched this video and I am walking around the house saying to myself "purl, yarn over, two together" LOL.😂... I am not a knitter but I'm going to give this set a try. I have until April and June to get two sets finished. .. Congratulations William you made it safely into the world!Thank you again for sharing with us. I think you are a GREAT teacher. Much Love, Peace and Blessings to you and your family.
Congratulation with all the new members of the family, This one is very easy to do and so it is the little baby sweater that I'm making for the set, Good luck and I hope everything goes well.
Thank you, Ruby, I subscribe your channel this is a beautiful stitch and easy to follow You are a good teacher I did it for my ground daughter Greetings from Jeddah❤
I was able to follow you on making the sweater and this hat it came out beautiful would you have a video on how to knit new born pants to this pattern or teach how to knit pants
Oh my god!!! I love this video!! I've just finished my first hat. I did with 4.0mm needles with 36 stitches.. following your instructions, and it turned out fab!! Tiny - but fab.. I love it!! Also love how you explain how to fix a mistake - wish I watched this video before trying out the sweater/cardigan.. I made so many and didn't know how to fix, so just ripped and kept starting again. I'll definitely knit some more. Love the stitch - is there an actual name for it? Best wishes from Co Dublin Ireland ☘️💖🇮🇪🙂
Ruby... What a beautiful stitch! I am assuming that it will work the same way if I am using circular needles...keeping the count to multiples of four. I think it would make a beautiful baby blanket... Thank you so much. Later... I just read in the comments that this stitch can only work flat. I want to use it in a baby blanket.. It’s so pretty and squishy.
How many stitches we need to cast on if we want to make this Hat for an adult and if the needle size is 3.5mm and how many rows we will knit? Plz guide
Just wondering if theres a video using this pattern to knit booties ? I finished knitting the hat n sweater n I love this pattern. Thank u so much Ruby u make knitting so much easier

Hi Ruby, i am a beginner, and find your video very easy to follow. Please how many stitches do i need to cast on to make a hat for a 2 and half year old boy?
Hello Ruby, Can you make this hat on circular needles? I have tried casting on 66 stitches and at the end of my first row I have 1 left instead of the last 2 to purl tog. I have attempted it several times. I'm not very good at sewing up seams that' why I wanted to use circulars. Thanks, Angela
All i have is #4 worsted weight. And 5mm needles How would that work out? Would i cast on the 38 stitches? This is a pretty stitch and i would love do this.

You can use up small amounts of left over yarn by doing striped baby hats. They look really cute.
