@@V.IVRusty mastering fujin helps you improve immensely in mk11 as a whole. I've yet to master him but the learning curve is so much fun
Thanks for the tips! He's my favourite character from MK, I'm so glad he's back and I love all the easter eggs to MK4 and Armageddon (the one that surprises me the most is that he got back his rising knee from MK4, so epic)

Haven't played it for long time too. I wasnt raging but my hands always shaking after mk and still much intension in game. I love it, but its too much fight of fingers than minds for usual player like me.

I know this video is quite old now, but now that everyone is able to customize loadouts for ranked, I recommend, warped needle, sky wakka, and pressure bomb for you abilities. Personally I don’t use warped needle because once you’re good enough with pressure bomb, you opponent would rather block than get hit by something they don’t know will go off and get comboed. Deadly winds let’s you extend your sky wakka crushing blow and catch the opponent mid fall and get a good 33% off your opponent

People are misunderstanding that fujin v3(cyclone) is a zoning variation but its not. How can you zone someone with a projectile that does no damage? And for the wind push to do damage you need meter. And everyone in the cast has projectile that does damage. So in the end, the cyclone fujin player needs to get in.
That variation is terrible in my opinion. I feel that specific variation needs a buff.
AMP F2 and B2 is not useful, and the anti air combo extender is just ok. The problem is, you can only do it after a jump-in and (4,2 [even worse, 4 is a high]), which restricts his combo potential. And it isn't like you are going to always catch your opponent jumping.
And the wind push...the move itself is good, since it can keep fujin save on block, and if I'm not mistaken can reset netural...but the fact it does NO Damage is underwhelming.
I would fix this variation by adding AMP F2 and B2 to Fujin's base kit, and replace it with one of his skills. I was thinking Pressure bomb.
With Pressure Bomb, Fujin now has more combo potential, and can open up the opponent easier. It also allows The anti air combo extender to be used a little more,

@@Official_Loafalthelilly And yes, I agree that the F2 1+3 and b2 1+3 amp should be a base move. But instead of pressure bomb I think jet stream would be better. Jet stream is a buff up move that gives some damage buff to some of his wind attacks and extends his reach on some of his attacks. And guess what, now if you activate jet stream, your wind push gets 2% damage. And your d3 becomes +3 on block lol.

Cyclone is not for zoners, he controls space in the neutral but he wants to be close because zoning destroys him, trades are not in his favor.

CYCLONE IS NOT FOR ZONING.
You will get zoned TF out if you try it. You can only annoy the hell out of your opponent in that variation. If you want your opponent to stop zoning, Cyclone is good for that. But it is not a zoning variation. IT IS AN ANTI-AIR VARIATION. You control the sky with it because the air slam is an anti-air, the stand 4 is an anti-air that combos into air slam, and the stand 2 is an anti-air that combos into air slam as well.
You can extend combos with the amp air slam with two forward dashes, jump 2, land, stand 4, stand 2, wind kicks/fatal blow/wind push. There are so many possibilities with Cyclone. And that's why I main it.
And I repeat, it IS NOT for zoning.
This guys is hilarious. 'Jump 2 is your jump in that you can use to take an uppercut to the face'
so its ang and neo in one. bad ass.

I also noticed that there are combos that should work but don't It's just because it's not in the game. Like 2 fast Punches then Is his spinning Backflip wind kick. I've been trying to fast punch in a heavy punch and then do his spinning backflip wouldn't kick it doesn't work. Why doesn't he have a grab attack where he can grab his gun and shoot him in the face 3 times? Or when he does his sweep attack you can also throw a heavy knee into his face Into a grab attack? Why isn't there an ability that changes all his basic attacks to wind attacks. His fast punch has more range but does less damage and his faster is faster is heavy attack is stronger but has less range and goes up his his low kick is a sweep his front kick pulls polls his opponent in towards his cake at the same time.

I just stumble on this vid while looking for a good guide with Fujin. Since we have custom variations now, what moves should I have
HowTF do you LAND the st. 4 after amp'ed Sky Wakka?!?! I can't do it consistently. Either the 4 doesn't come out, the st. 2 comes out instead of 4,2 or when I cancel amp'ed Sky Wakka, NO MATTER the timing, the opponent's body is NOWHERE NEAR ME :O V1 combos are EASIER!

@@dacodadavis129 haha :P yeah. I was shocked that with wifi, I could actually do some of Fujin's bnbs when they're already hard enough to do offline. Raptor put up a vid of Fujin combos and they're STILL insane to me: the flashiest mk combos I've ever seen, I think! :O lol Some ppl commented that you just have to practice. I dunno though: my execution strength lies in being fast for old SF combos. I'm not that good with timing. I see even the pros drop some of the more basic combos sometimes. Being consistent is hard and at least for the Switch, offline lag is an issue too.
What drives me NUTS about the V2 Fujin combos is they look easy to do when you watch a pro do them, but they just DON'T work the way they seem. Hopefully I'm just doing something wrong but NO ONE explains the particular combo I'm having trouble doing. Even worse is that the b11212 combo used to be a LOT easier for me to cancel but now I can only special cancel it with the d,u special attacks now. There's a possibility I could spam the wind kick or the 'warped needle' (db4) and it will cancel at the right time. I'm gonna try that :P
@@Protectobot Honestly though I think that's the way to go with these. I'm not giving up on this guy but in the mean time I'm also going to take the combos I can do well and put them together as best I can.
