Ha that looks like fun, if I lived close I would love to help. You are lucky to have a work shop inside your house, down south here in South Carolina we don't have cellars or attics. My shop is in a open type pole barn Bugs Birds and Snakes...lol
Bugs and snakes gross! LOL Yeah it would be a pleasure to get some help from some knowledgeable people on this stuff. I made a few mistakes setting it up but learned from my mistakes.
how bout show us some dual axxis setups ?? im thinking bout doing it was curious if you ve needing 2 movers or is there a mover available for the e/w and up/down
Hi. Just to be clear the polar mount should be pointing due south. My true south satellite is 72.7. I am able to pick up this satellite with a strong signal but having trouble with western satellites. Thanks Bill
Could you answer this question on my c-band 7 1/2 ft dish mount Setting the declination off set angle. in the northern hemisphere where we are you Canada me US in Wisconsin/ If your Setting your declination angle and to start it's set exactly the same as the elevation that is 43 latitide modified adjustment 43.65 and so when I factor in the declination offset 5.96 does this make the dish lower to the ground or higher to the sky so I'll have total of 49.61, my bolts not long enough to go higher
I am not sure both work! But in my case the Deinclination angle is tricky I need a bit longer bolt. Or turn it around and the dish is a bit to hight :/
Mesh dishes do better in the wind They say! Solid dishes are better at reflecting signal They Say! And i don't know who THEY ARE :). I am still feeling out the difference and so far say that the mesh is about the same! It is all in how you tune your ark and lnb!
