It’s quite a bit smaller than the XL Caiman but definitely not a mini. Perfect EDC size and weight and the build quality is outstanding. Also loving my Kansept (Tenable) Nesstreet ! 🔥🔥🔥 😃👍🏼
Great list. Here’s mine (from what I own): CJRB Pyrite, the Lago & the Praxis, the Iridium, PF’s Beluga, Kizer’s PPY (“the puppy”), Vorsteed’s Raccoon (crossbar) and, as honorable mention, Civiv’s Baby Banter (almost $60). Not all of these are newer models, but I luv them anyway.
I was looking at this model but went for the heavier Kizer Sheepdog XL. Have the Rose gold Pyrite. My dress up knife. Holding up very well thus far with medium duty.
Here's a few that have brought joy to me, that are in the budget range. Kershaw tumbler, Sixleaf sl17 is a ridiculous deal at 60 atm bin on ebay. Srm rubik, the reate xou is so close at 77 such a cool unit, the o-knife utility folder is like 25 and excellent. Kizer z82 is like 40 bones atm super underrated. Bestechman Ronan, Bestech Komodo, Miguron Galaty, kansept little main st, ruike p155 is a sleeper very heavy duty and fidgety. Twosun ts21 is on Amazon atm for 55 bones, great fist ti knife for newbs. Anyway, great episode, and congrats on the upcoming 10k landmark!
My favorite knives this year are the Kershaw Iridium original and reverse Tanto. My other favorites are the Pyrite Alt and the Pyrite light. All great knives.
I think Kansept is watching the rest of the industry, like Vosteed, and thinking “we better get off our ass”. Give me 14c28n all day in this price point. Great list and great video brother.
