The simplest buff for equinox is having energy transfer baseline then give another augment for her 4th. Also give the dmg reduction augment a flat range instead of the current tiered range. This 2 alone will open up soo much potential for her since you can charge maim from mend, and nuking with maim is a "risk" potential that ppl need to manage

De should take this year to buff/rework most frames. Alot of them are outdated or needs a small buff that could make them good. like half the frames could be op if they just buff or rework like 1 or 2 abilities on each midtier.
I love equinox she is one of my mains next to wisp on sp survival one Warframe 8 skills, shield restore, damage increase, overshield plus health restore of yourself and of course the ultimate sp instant map nuke with a range/damage combo building her right I never used helminth for her builds on my frame my most used frame for years, I've managed to get her bonus damage buff to 1,380% damage in day form absolutely godly Warframe, I'm glad you had brought attention to her, enjoy her peeps 👌 energy transfer is a necessity mod in my opinion 👌😊
I am working on building two equinox primes, one with using triple Umbra mods she tanks really well, nukes whole rooms with her 4th or the Spector with only around 150 power strength. The other one will be using and the Nova helminths with her augmentation and archon vitality.
I have found my way to survive with Equinox just using Energy Transfer with lots of yellow shards for casting speed, Equilibrium and Gloom subsumed over her 2nd. In Duviri some energy decrees are needed, elsewhere Dethcube will do the trick. I play her a lot nowadays. Earlier her dying was a problem, and also dated looks - this deluxe skin finally made her HOT ❤🔥
For endurance I like to use gloom equinox, I helmith her 4 and put on precision intensify to give me more room moding some would say her four is one of the best things about her, but in steel path if you’re not committing to armor stripping in anyway the 4 it’s kind of pointless. Terrify equi day form is good for defense or anything you’re trying to level or wipe the field in general. Just make sure you have a god teir weapon like a kuva or incarnon to lean on to stack the damage quickly. Roar/whisper builds are good for netracells archon hunts, pretty much anything that requires you killing enemies fast. I usually get rid of her rest and Rage. So I can stack to Damage with her three. Equinox is a powerhouse doesn’t really need any changes away from some minor changes. It would be nice if the slash damage on the 4 Damage multiplier could be affected by power strength and not a flat base multiplier.
With duality, I would like them to just have it be a flat damage buff on day and a flat armor/shield buff. Right now the buff on both sides of metamorphosis goes down slowly, which is tied to power strength and duration.
I don't think equinox needs rework, at least not much. I mostly use armor strip nuke build. Did most dmg in my party easy. Did the arcane trickery build too.
With the arcane trickery/ finisher gameplay, try the bronco prime with the augment dizzying rounds You can one shot eximus enemies with their shield still up in steel path if you mod your melee weapon right. I forgot the name of the katana that turns you invisible every time you do a finisher kill with it. That will add to your survivability when arcane trickery doesn’t want to work. This also solves the being in day form and finisher killing enemies problem. And also gives you the ability to not have to put in pull if you don’t want to but I can’t lie, being able to finish multiple enemies at once increases the likelihood that arcane trickery will Proc.
Equinox needs 0 buffs. Her only downside is energy economy. So you trade companion slot and run equilibrium. I think subsuming gloom is better than the pacify augment since provoke bonus strength will apply to gloom for its entire duration in either form.
easy fix for my girl, most of her abilites just need numbers refresh a not ability change make her augment where she doesnt lose buffs and accumulations when changes forms built in, because the whole point of the frame is that you have 2-ish frames in one but its almost never utilised because its clunky right now and it doesnt transfer, also some other frames have way stronger abilities with much less restrictions this would not make her broken by any means make her 1 tap/hold, tap cost no energy to change forms, hold gives her one of the buffs she already gets when changing forms (but make those buffs better, either by changin them or just tweaking the numbers so they are meaningful) 2 is fine, just adjust the numbers a bit so its better, and maybe make it better to cast, like AOE or cone shaped, not like now where oyu have to target enemy and then get the AOE 3 should not have energy drain based upon enemies, that is always the stupidest thing you can make abilities do, shouldnt have the proximity nerfing also stupid, aaand maybe adjust the numbers as well (you can see the pattern) 4 is a bit harder one to figure out, I think maim is fine, but mends healing should be adjusted so that allies get a sort of a health buff where they get all of the acfumulated health transfered to them and give them a Garuda like effect of her second and not just a huge health burst because that is never fully utilised and like tis she would be a support and give them a mobile heal that is expended when needed and not 1 time full heal edit: to clarify, make 4th heal them if needed, but the rest of accumulated health as sort of a bowl of health from whcih they get healed if they lose any
I don’t really like duality build for the reasons you said, and it kind of just makes the rest of her kid useless. Although you could run energy transfer and duality with decent range to take advantage of the constant switching.
When using the prime, day form nothing arround your waist/legs, you look to be fair and honest like a male. In night version you get stuff arround your waist/legs. If you didn't knew energy color affects your starting form.
Equinox (as in, base Equinox, before the primed version, where i had to farm both day and night forms) was my first nuking frame back in the day, and I still use her now for solo ESO nuking. I've yet to use her for normal missions though, she's just not as fun as other frames for that
I was so lucky farming Equinox, it took me all of 9 missions, meaning I repeated only once more than the absolute minimum. Then I don't know how to play it, come here and watch this video and ... I'm still a noob, I didn't understand anything in this video. I guess I'll just play it (it's not a He or a She, it's either/both - yeah, don't get me started) for a few hours and come back and see if I can make sense of your video.
Too much work - Too many button to press - Require specific arcane - Too many prep work. Where else other warframe, one button achieve much better result than this.
She's a good warframe and does not need a reworks, she's one of the most powerful frames there is....only one problem. Her farm is soooooo bad, and cuz is soo hard alot of players don't get her, and if her prime is valted ill be even less.
Been liking Dagath, with full umbra she is very tanky. To me Dagath is a hybrid shield/health tank, use brief respite with health mods seems to work really well, also adaptation and equilibrium.
Hunter Adrenaline end Arcan Molt Reconstruct and you're practically immorta.And you don't need an equilibra a purple shard is enough. Of course, to get your life up to Arcane Blessing.
I think I specifically said that you use arcane intention to proc the slow debuff of peaceful provocation and not to increase the health of equinox for survivability.

Equinox is one of my favorites but she is just so energy hungry. It's also tough ( for me) to balance what abilities when

She competes just fine with Dante, Warframe zoomers need to give her a fair try before making baseless claims and calling for a rework
Not an easy frame to play, augment mod on her 4 is a must. Much easier if you helmith Silence to her 3rd atleast for me.
