Not What I Expected... Schuco Porsche 911 / 930 Turbo. Is This Really 1:64th Scale!?

- I'm a huge Porsche fan. Mostly 911's. But this little guy just isn't what I expected. This is a brand new unit so it doesn't make a lot of sense for it's problem. I've always loved Schuco model's but I don't think i will ever buy them again. Mostly because of it's small untrue 1:64th scale.

I'm sorry, but you cannot compare a true-to-scale car like the Schuco to a Hot Wheels. The Hot Wheels Datsun is not even close to 1:64 scale. I have several true-to-scale Datsuns from TLV, Konami and Greenlight and I can tell you that they are much smaller than the Hot Wheels version (I have several HWs as well as I collect the 510). I only have one Schuco Porsche but it is pretty much spot on in size when compared to my Porsches from TLV and Mini GT. Liked your review but I don't think your comments on scale are correct. The missing tail light though is another story. That is poor QC from Schuco and would piss me off no end.

i have 2 of these... it does seem quite small compared to mini gt, but other than that they look absolutely amazing! awesome details too!

Great footage, but you made a huge mistake. The Hot Wheels Datsun 510 is not even close to true scale. Mattel follows the 3-inch rule, just place a "in real life" big HW Pickup Truck next to the HW Datsun 510 and compare them. However, the 930 is actually a small car by today's standards, so it may seem a bit small.
Schuco is only a trade name, the original German company folded in the late 70's so your car is made in China and reason for the quality control issues.

omg i just bought a Schuco beetle and i was like... why is the car seemed smalller than my other 1/64? so it's just this brand of cars that have weird scale...
Exactly, and everyone will argue and say it's because they do true scale. But greenlight does true scale and their beetles are much larger than this brand.

lol hotwheels aint true 1/64
hw generally have 1/62 to 1/61 scale.
