There is a slide release on the left face of the gun which allows you to re-rack it before firing, but you probably just missed that in the instructions or haven't unloaded a shotgun. (It's the little button next to the Nerf logo) So far no jamming on mine, but thanks for the heads up.
Basically the instructions say to pull the trigger, BUT it is recommended to point at floor. If still jammed, use reset button (the one you said) and it might shoot when pressed.

Honestly, mine only jams and malfunctions with the gun were when I used it wrong. 2:14 when it gets locked forward and you can't clear jams, there's a small button on the side of the blaster, press it and you can pull the thing covering the flap back again to be able to access the flap. Then clear any jams out. The gun only jams when you use it wrong in my experience
if you read the instructions, you would know theres a button that unlocks the mechanism. maybe instead of forcing out the darts like an animal, try doing research.
I looks like you destroyed the darts manually, how does a blaster twist, then rip a dart to shreds? The gun does jam from time to time, but it never annihilates the darts to a point when they are not useable. And they are called stocks and barrel extensions, I feel like this is clickbait.
A lot of retaliator/recon type blasters do have this problem because the darts don't chamber right or all the way and the head gets chopped off by the bottom of the feeding barrel. Happens when you go fast or hard or both.
I think you got a dud, when I got mine I didn't know that you needed to half-way prime it to remove the magazine and I tore the magazine out, the blaster survived. Later on I primed it way too many times and no darts were firing, I unjammed it a bit and it survived. The blaster is actually really sturdy and has a lot of good designs, something might've gone wrong whilst yours was being made. Best you can do is try to get it refunded if nothing works.

Nothing wrong with it, when theres already a dart loaded that the magazine of its nerf cant fit, remove it and shoot it so the magazine can fit in and the prime kinda makes you sweaty but trust me, you better try doing this over and over again so it dosent jam. and it also can shoot harder so you buy it, worth it.
You got a lemon. I have this blaster but never had any of these problems happen to me. "If a dart is stuck in there you cant open the jam door" yes you can. There is a button on the side of the blaster that allows you to prime the blaster again if its jamed up.
If it’s jammed in the chamber not in the firing port it won’t let you pull the slide back. Cause the foam material holds it in place trapped between the top port and the slide. No other way to get it free than to remove the jammed projectile manually.
2:23 you see that little orange button on the other side where the screws are that an unjamming button I use this when my gun is jammed or crumpled darts when you press this it will release the priming handle to clear a jam
I bought the Echo and it works almost fine, it will jam occasionally but all I had to do is just take the dart out of where it was originally loaded, I do have some issues though. For starters The jam door is horrible, it is cheap which means you can rip it off but you can place it back in, it is hard to get to it if the priming handle won't work which is my biggest issue with the jam door, I do have a tip and it is to hold the tiny button on the left side of the echo and then prime it back as that cancels the priming and then you can easily just clear out the jam easily.

That is the main problem I have with that style of breach system. The dart is not pushed into the sealing part of the beech, instead the beech is pulled forward and the dart is pushed back into it. This leads to inconsistent chambering and the problem mentioned here. I also mod and usually remove the lock which prevents the priming slide from being pulled back when it is already forward after Priming. unless it can be depressed from the outside. Allowing me to clear jams.

If you look at a picture, (I’m looking at my brothers which works fine) the chamber is supposed to have a divot in the front to accept the dart, and not chew it up. I think you may be double feeding like I did, if the action gets stiff don't rack, eject the mag and look at the breach. This happens when you half rack and then full rack.

Based on what I'm seeing i know exactly what is going wrong, you're overloading the mag, 12 darts max and honestly as far as nerf mags go I usually go 1 less dart then the max load, because you have to much compression in the mag so it's loading 2 darts in the barrel causing those jams 👌👌
Their is also a plastic spring on the trigger so that will eventually break and the stock attach thing could come and you can't put it back on because it was glued on there
@@iron0xide974 the problem is they might have primed it too many times, mines had no problems at all, and with a lot of toys if you play too rough, it's probably gonna break.
Here’s what I’ve tried. Pull trigger. Get magazine out. And see if you can see a projectile stick in the mechanism. If so clear it out. Then it will work again. Also make sure you push the action all the way forward to get it to be able to pull the trigger.
Also there is a small primer release button. Small orange on the side. Only works if the darts/ projectiles are not locked between the body and the bolt which slides darts forward.
i got one for my birthday and it is amazing i like taking off the barrel extension and be stealthy with it becuz if u walked through a hall and u aiming down that hall and u hear stuff in the next room and they see the long barrel ur screwed and tell me ur style with the blaster
Try pressing the Anti jam button on the side and hopefully when you press the button to unlock/push out your magazine it’ll work (hopefully) if not keep pressing the anti jam button

Yes when it fired it’s got some power for a nerf cannon. It’s the jamming issue that Nerf needs to address in a second release.

Yes and my son is 7 and all 7 year olds in a nerf war will do that. The others we have don’t jam up like this one.
@@iron0xide974 the problem is they might have primed it too many times, mines had no problems at all, and with a lot of toys if you play too rough, it's probably gonna break.
2:10 there’s litterally a button to clear that lock
When it’s good and jammed it don’t work. And the fact they put a button was because they recognize it was a bad design instead of fixing it.

nothing is wrong with mine but I took off the barrel top and slid the slide on top of it and now it’s stuck and I can’t get it unstuck
Here’s what I’ve tried. Pull trigger. Get magazine out. And see if you can see a projectile stick in the mechanism. If so clear it out. Then it will work again. Also make sure you push the action all the way forward to get it to be able to pull the trigger.
Also there is a small primer release button. Small orange on the side. Only works if the darts/ projectiles are not locked between the body and the bolt which slides darts forward.
I got this gun and I am very happy with it it works very well

I’ve had this blaster for around two years and it hasn’t destroyed any of my darts. Don’t trust this guy
the same shit. and unfortunately iFixit doesn't have instruction how to remove the back piece which hold probably the main string inside :(((

i got one for my birthday and it is amazing i like taking off the barrel extension and be stealthy with it becuz if u walked through a hall and u aiming down that hall and u hear stuff in the next room and they see the long barrel ur screwed and tell me ur style with the blaster
fax I bough it and 1 day later the bullet jammed in the back of the gun and I couldnt get it out

Try pressing the Anti jam button on the side and hopefully when you press the button to unlock/push out your magazine it’ll work (hopefully) if not keep pressing the anti jam button
