- HexBug have released a new Nano Space range of habitat sets.
In this video I review the HexBug Nano Space Discovery Station set.
This set contains 55 pieces that includes 2 new Nano 'Space Rangers' (batteries included). As well as two clip on space suits there is a great six wheel truck with clip-on add-ons that can convert it from a transporter to a weapons platform.
I love how he does this review as if the hex bugs were alive! Make it soo much more fun!
Still liking more the old system, but great and very enjoyable review - thank you very much!
You are welcome! Thanks for the comment.
The old and new will kinda still work together and it will be a long time before I have enough of the new Space sets to be able to fill a table with a maze set... Will still be using the old track in my big setups.
I started with the space command set, I still like the old ones. I picked up the construction kit habitat and that is much more portable and fun imo. More science like for experiments.
I have yet to finish my review of the biggest Nano Space set.
You are not alone in still liking the older sets. You are one of the few that now have both!!
I love the idea with the vehicles - > put a Nano inside as motor ^^
That is one of my favourite parts to this set. In total I now have three rovers!
Just me or does gray really like the truck
Cool
I’ve taken an unexpected interest in the nano space sets. I mean I did meet Britain’s first astronaut the other day so that might be it.
Wow! How did you get the chance to meet Helen?
Tom Strong Reviews I went to the space museum in Leicester. Only an hour and a half drive
I go there often myself, didn’t know she was attending / speaking. (Also about 90 minutes away).
I was lucky enough to see Tim Peakes’s Soyuz landing craft, it’s vast chute and his spacesuit as it travelled around the country last year. (Peterborough Cathedral).
Needed a big space and was so impressively displayed and lit.
How long do the batteries last? , I enjoy your reviews too.
Thanks!
You get several+ hours out of a branded quality battery. Some of the demo batteries or cheaper ones only last 4 or so hours.
Tom Strong Reviews Thanks for that.
Hi
Hi bro
I'm not a fun of the nano space sets, I'm still getting plenty of use out of the original sets, enjoy your videos
I hear you and you are not alone. Perhaps this will mainly attract new people to HexBug Nanos ? Which would still be a great thing.
Tom Strong Reviews having watched more video featuring nano space sets I'm starting to like the the track, it's great how it's side less and the bugs look out over the sides.
Agree, I love the new angled and flanged sides.
If you watch my Zip Line Nano Space review you will see that even when two are wearing the Zip Line Harness, they can still overtake!
They can also turn around in a corridor, so if there is a closed door, not such an issue.
There really are some great ideas in these sets.
I have this thing so if i get a toy or something i watch videos about it, i dont know why.
You are not alone!
It is a great way to get ideas and share tips. To consider what other build ideas there are etc..
Some of the HexBug Nano videos I make incorporate ideas from people who leave constructive comments.
I do that before I get a toy and I do it after still. I’m currently waiting for all the parts of transformers studio series devastator to be released and then I will have to buy them all. I want to make some extra pieces for things they miss out on E.G. devastators shoulder pads and piping, his famous robo balls and I plan on making ropes for his crane mode. One set for vehicle and one for combined mode
I put the ion cannon on top of my truck...
I love the fact everything fits everywhere.
I have 9 v1s and 6 v2s
Yoir 9 V1s are perfect for the Nano Space sets!
My channel thumbnail bug in a spacesuit.
Yay! Nanos in space 🚀 📡
Are there holes the antlers can go through in the space suit?
Haha! No, and the Antlers cant go on top unless you break a set and glue them...
