I feel like the original version has a lot of anxiety in the sound of it, you can feel doubt and confusion in it but here it sounds weary. The original is the musical equivalent of fear of betrayal but this gives off the same feeling of realizing you were right after being betrayed by someone you trusted. Love this cover a lot!
