Hopefully it wasn't a bad slime and they are just going to slay the demon king and save the country. 😅 Aside from tensura, the begining remind me of slime life, were a slime that has no mana wanted to learn magic from black mage, it's a really cute manga. @@RoseWeiVA She probably does (I would hope so, at least), but when you don't practice against difficult opponents in semi-realistic settings, you still won't be as used to fighting people on your level. In Fortnite, pros practice in scrims against each other, where everyone agrees not to kill each other until late game so there's lots of people alive at the end, thus better simulating the absolutely stacked nature of a real tournament match, where dozens of people are all packed into a tiny area, desperately fighting for an inch of space, and every single speck of a resource counts. If they practice in casual matches, the pros just end up killing everyone else and the endgame looks absolutely nothing like a tournament match. Plus, even in a scrim if you aren't up against people near your level it's so easy to take out other teams, take the most advantageous position on the battlefield, and stay alive, that it's still not as good practice. I'm guessing League is similar?

In League, because it's not a battle royale, you want a lead as much as possible. However, each server is very different. From my understanding, the Chinese super server, despite having the best "one-tricks" (people who are masters of a single champion), is a bad representation of real pro play because of the one-tricks and the tendency to be more aggressive and take potentially coinflip fights. Pros usually practice in the Korean servers, where there are no issues like that, because it's a better representation of real pro play.

You have to be part of specific Discord servers or something, so they know they won't get a random person in the lobby who just wants to fight everyone early game. I think if you do that too much you usually get banned from the Discord though, so you can't get in future scrims. That's really interesting that people go to other servers to practice!
